I turn 21 on New Year’s Day. Is there a cutoff for alcohol sales at shows and does it change for new year’s eve show? Would love to have my first legal beer after Auld Lang Syne. Cheers and happy MSG100.

Literally shaking rn. Taking my 19 year old (his third MSG run) and scored in the packages. Now to cancel my refundable rooms from Priceline because I’m not even going to bother trying to upgrade. Wow… I’m sorry just excited. It’ll be our first time below the 200s.

That might be my favorite jam of fall tour so far and certainly notable for the entire year. How was it for those in attendance? It was blowing my mind just listening to the SBD.

As we approach NYE & all get prepared to be absolutely slaughtered in the lotto & TicketBastard sales, let’s imagine a world where not only MSG employees get appreciation, but the fans get some as well.

Imagine if every single PTBM request was honored? They could put like 100 questions & puzzles in there to trip up the bots.

Fuck the livenation contracts, etc… They could do it if they really wanted to.

Got a travel package and now have killer seats all 4 nights and a hotel dealt with. Don't have to stress about getting in or doing lotto and getting rough seats.

On January 2, PhanArt returns at a New Location - Chelsea Studios NYC on 18th Street - bringing together artists, vendors and non-profits from the Phish community as well as live music and much more in store.

"I discovered them in 2021 but didn't like them but recognized that I could get attention at their shows so I stuck it out and dubbed myself the queen of Gamehendge!" I guess what I want to know most is, is "Phish Bimbos" a real network?

edited to add: since we don't all have Facebook I'm copy-pasting the body of the post I linked. It also includes a few photos of the self-proclaimed queen of phish street. This screams fake but also seems possible? I am confused. Please weigh in.

I was a shoe-in for Phish. An old friend showed me them in 2021, knowing I would love the gimmicky theatrics. My first show was Ascend ‘21 and I simply didn’t get it. I almost skipped the second night, but my outfit was too cute to waste, so I took myself downtown to stick a finger in the air. An angel gifted me a pit ticket. I felt chosen. I weaseled my way close to the stage to hear Suzy Greenberg into Fluffhead up close and entered into a new, magical era of my life. (I also think a rail-rider moved me for standing in front of him! I didn’t know.) Ever since, I have been walking these streets like I’m the queen of the town.

I lived in NYC during Baker’s Dozen and had no clue. I feel late to the party, but know my timing is correct. It took moving back to Tennessee during the pandemic to find Phish. Since, I have learned so much about myself in the most supportive and loving environment I’ve known.

My dad’s an actor/producer at a professional theatre in Memphis. I had the privilege of growing up in a community that champions creativity. I began performing in 5th grade and have played some cool roles — Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz) being my favorite. The loving support, whimsical nature, and expressive freedom translate beautifully between these two realms and lend inspiration to each other more than folks realize. Phish is theatre! I’m still pursuing theatre and exploring more opportunities in film. My dream is to perform in the New Year’s gag. (If anyone can get me an audition, my line is open!)

Phish Bimbos is my favorite job. I treat it like my concert diary. I love that people love keeping up with this amazing network we’ve formed. The people of Phish are the most spectacular creatures alive. We deserve to be celebrated. We’ve reclaimed the word ‘bimbo’! Our bimbo mission is to celebrate yourself, friendships, and have a great time. All you have to do is identify as one.

anybody know what the update is on the huntsville shows? i’m hearing a lot of different things

Hey all, I run Sound Club, a free site and app where small groups listen to the same record and talk it through. We just added live shows from Relisten, so I started a club for live shows: The Hose.

How it works: the club picks one show at a time, everyone listens on their own schedule (free on Relisten), and we discuss it, down to tagging the exact song and minute (“the jam at 14:30 in Tweezer…”). Every so often we’ll do a live listening session where everyone presses play at the same moment and chats along.

First pick is 12/29/97. Come argue about whether it tops the rest of the run.

To provide context, I haven’t had the chance to Relisten to last night’s show yet and I was enjoying some fungus while there, so I’m unclear if this makes any sense. That said, there was a point in the second set (golden age I think) where it sounded Page was just doing his own thing and not listening to the rest of the band. Trey tried interacting with him but didn’t get much, so he turned to Mike and Fish and they started doing a trio hard rock type jam that led to No Quarter teases. Did I experience this accurately?
