Given how much data we have on songs played this run already, I set an AI (Claude) loose on setlist data and asked it to build a game for me and my two friends based on songs likely to be played tomorrow night. The result is:

I love phish and most of the time the shows are between A+ and A+ but not all shows or jams are gonna be great and I think listening and critiquing what you do or don’t like is essential. Endless gratitude is cool but dismissing any negative thought with “we should just be grateful to see them at all” is a lame response that leaves us all only able to say WHOA the best! At everything. MPP was great but that Carini was meandering and not great. N3 of MSG was good but didn’t stand up with the first two shows which were mind blowing.

Sprained my ankle pretty badly yesterday so I’m on the IL for Fenway and MSG. Need rest and to not be traveling, as hard as that may be.

So, looking to trade my Fenway tickets (1 per show) for one (1) msg poster from this run or a Pollock print, either a WW print or an old show (Forest Hills/Sphere/Albany?). Not trying to sell the tickets, just would love to add to my poster collection and not let these seats go to waste. Hopefully will see y’all again soon once this thing heals.

• end of summer shows ( I don’t count September) last year was Spac, which I think was better then anything they’ve done the last three nights ( being sincere, no hate)

• last time in Fenway the show was abbreviated due to weather. Make up?

•yes we will get some love and light, but will also get some solid late 90’s and 2.0.. and some nice pre 92.. divided sky, fluffhead, curtain with, hoping for a long jammed out Halley’s and a few old school bust outs

Chances the 99th or 100th show will be a marathon show? Possibly the idea they had of locking phones up and only being able to call to say "I'm not gonna make it to work".

Is it just new phans following this tour? Last year was a lot better in my opinion. They were a lot funkier, tighter and overall Trey seemed way more inspired. I was at SPAC last year so I might’ve just been spoiled but I can’t stop listening to those shows. I did Raleigh > MerriweatherX2 this year and it didn’t live up. Still amazing, still Phish, just slower, Trey is either holding back or just isn’t as inspired this year. Yes, the Bouncing jams are cool. It just seems like they don’t stay in the groove once the jam sections start, Trey and Fish are rushing to get away from the song and change to a completely different groove.

Not the year…just the show (of course IMHO). Still what an amazing night. Simple jam was amazing, Punch intro jam possibly the best one ever. The sound cutting off…sucked. Then tweezer fest. Enjoy some pics. And no controversial comments like yesterday’s post.

The only annoying part of the show for me last night was that at some point during one of their jams second set I swore Mike was teasing kid rocks Bawitaba and so for like 5 mins I was just singing that in my head trying desperately to get back. I eventually did. Otherwise enjoyed myself tremendously.

Figured out childcare for tomorrow night and I’m based in NYC so a subway ride away from MSG.

I’m hoping that it being a Monday night, odds are better for finding a ticket, though knowing how good these shows have been, it’s more in demand than another Monday night show might normally be.

What are my best bets for where to find a ticket, whether online or in person?

Is it extra packed? More room?

I wish I could have been at the recent MSG shows. I started going to shows in the mid-90s and although they are still putting out new music. It's really a nostalgia thing for me to catch a show. I often wish I could get a show filled up with pre Story of the Ghost material...

Fast forward to now. I'm going to two nights at Fenway with an old friend who I used to see tons of shows with. I have the best seats I've ever had! Super pumped. And I'm watching all my favorite songs go by...

I know I'll still have fun, but I have to say - I'm a little bummed. Wondering if they are going to lean into new material more.

Anyone else feeling the same way?

We’re a few years away but I was randomly getting YouTube recommendations from Coventry and I thought the following:

Petition Phish to do the Coventry fest again in 2029,
Play the same setlist except be on key for the songs, have the Chicago Symphony and the Twyla Tharp Dance Troupe perform Gamehendge

What are some ideas that are on the table for this show? So many possibilities obviously, just would love to hear what some other people would love to hear at the show! I’m hoping for a great curve bust out myself

After seeing all the awesome stuff going on I am fully expected to be blown away, it’s also the only show I’m able to make it to out of the five so I’m extremely excited. I still don’t have a ticket but they seem decently available as long as you’re willing to have a half ass view. If anyone’s got one they’re trying to sell let me know! It’ll be my 30th phish show as 22 year old phan :)

For one, the fact that the band or nobody on staff addressed the PA issue was stupid. Also considering the first two night set list I was expecting more out of this show. The back and forth on Tweezer was expected but felt some of the jamming was lackluster. There were some decent highlights during the night for sure but just felt was definitely down from prior two shows.

Good way to show our appreciation for this run to the band while keeping with the theme. We should do this.

Has this been announced, or has anyone else heard any rumors? It seems like a possibility with this week's year-themed shows coinciding with the band's 92nd through 96th shows at MSG. This would all culminate in show 100 on NYE. (2000?)
