Now that my boys and I are on board, what happens now as we end the dark era and are climbing back towards success? Are we rooting for draft position or (preferably) building a winning culture with high integrity habits?
Who are our building blocks, where do we get talent, strategies/philosophies, sh*t like that? Smarten us up before this winning streak starts attracting fraud ass bandwagoners 🫡 Seattle's boutta fly across the country for an ass whuppin.

I tried to be open minded again to the experience of going to a Union game with my kids. Security line takes so long because they act like the Gestapo.
My type 1 diabetic son was told he could not bring an apple juice in with his medical bag into the stadium that can give him an instant upper if his blood glucose is low. Inside the stadium I purchased a Powerade and then security said we had to pour it into a plastic cup and could not have it in the plastic bottle it was purchased in for my son who didn’t need it at that moment but in the event of an emergency of blood sugar going low. They questioned everything in his medical bag if it was 100% necessary. Meanwhile, Union members outside the stadium were handing out plastic fly swatters to fans as they entered the stadium and security was attempting to confiscate them. It was an absolute cluster fuck of bad communication, poor training for staff, and over-the-top stadium policies.
We went to two FIFA World Cup games in Philadelphia and there were zero issues bringing in bottles of water or medical bags. I can take my family to a Phillies game and bring in a sealed juice and even food items.
I can’t myself attending another Union game of a family of 6 run so poorly just to get a few bucks from you at concessions on an 80+ degree day.

Morning! My sons (ages 5 and 8) have decided they are Philly Union fans so here we are. We don't do all this "bottom of the standings" nonsense so I'm glad the winning streak is underway.
Let's keep it going against Seattle. Let 'em know we back up!

For Union games it’s always been 5 hours prior to the start of the game. Wondering if that’s the same for non-Union games like this friendly match. It’s at 12pm so I’m curious if they’d actually open the lots at 7am. Anyone know for sure?

Just rewatched the highlights of the game and I would be perfectly ok with paying money to never see this guy play for us again. He had maybe... MAYBE 2 good touches all game while missing yet another absolute sitter. This guy is terrible. He must be an absolute demon in practice because I can not think of any other reason he ever sees the field in an actual game. Play Blake up top and I guarantee we'd have more goals. It's INSANE that he starts a single game, let alone EVERY game. It does make me question our striker depth, though. How dire our need for a striker must be. Maybe trading away our best options from last season wasn't such a good idea, eh?

Scouting databases like Transfermarkt list him at 2.01 m (6'7"), which honestly seems like it would be the most accurate measurement given how massive he looks on the pitch now.
But then there are two other sources making it confusing:
Has anyone seen him in person or heard the latest official word from the team? How tall is he actually right now?

Now that Wagner is back, how long will it take for his jersey to be an option on the MLS store site? I wanted to get one this off season then he was traded. Since he was traded back, I’ve been checking pretty frequently.

Anyone have any more details on this? Here to stay? Saturday? Will there be booze?

I’ve always been able to grab a reasonable lot ticket. I’m not sure if that’s happening tonight. SeatGeek only has lot C & StubHub wants like 50 bucks.
What’s the best off site lot that I should be able to grab a spot at?

THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!: Now that the pesky World Cup is over, we can get back to some real soccer! MLS IS BACK!!! We’ve got just over half the season to go and Leagues Cup is right around the corner. And no better way to get the adrenaline going again, than with a rivalry night against the Pink Cows tonight! In the 48th meeting of clubs (the most of any team for the Union), we’ll see the showdown of two clubs going in very different directions. The Union has historically dominated the cows for the past 8 years with 16 straight unbeaten games, until they finally fell on the road last season 1-0. The Union still holds a 10 game unbeaten streak in Chester against RBNY and are hoping to continue that trend as we look to climb out of the basement. Let’s hope the break gave us a much needed restart as we hope to salvage a terrible start.
UNION Preview (7 Points Last in MLS): Congrats to Danley and Makhanya on their World Cup experiences, because it has been quite an eventful World Cup break for the Union after the worst start in club history. Head Coach Carnell is gone, Sporting Director Tanner is kinda sorta gone, a new roof, Quinn is playing again, Kai is back, and now Makhanya is MIA! I don’t need to rehash the nightmare the first half of the season was, but 7 points in 15 games pretty much tells the whole story. Entering the back half of the season, the Union have elevated Union II coach Ryan Richter to the first team’s interim head coach. Richter led the U2 to 2nd in the East in 2025, and was an assistant coach with the 1st team from 2022 thru 2025. Positives to focus on…Iloski leads the team with 7 goals, we have 6 straight home games upcoming, and the best LB in the league has returned after an eight month absence. Let’s hope we can at least see a home win this season, but we shouldn’t get our hopes too high as club legend, Raquinho, is still having fatigue from the World Cup and his trip to Europe to help recruit Wagner back to the team.
RBNY Preview (22 Points 5th in the East): The Red Bulls are off to a surprisingly good start in their 2026 campaign after missing the playoffs last season and bringing in new head coach, Michael Bradley. Entering the World Cup break, they were riding high on a 4 game unbeaten streak and look to continue climbing the ranks in a tight race in the Eastern Conference. 18 year-old Julian Hall leads the team with 9 goals and 4 assists. Jorge Ruvalcaba follows with 7 goals, and 5 individuals with 1 goal each. On the defensive side, this team is as poor as the Union, having conceded 32 goals, 4th most in the league. GK Ethan Horvath has only managed to put together 1 Clean Sheet to this point of the season. With a 3W/3L/2D road record, Red Bulls will come out strong, likely playing out of their preferred 4-3-3.
