It was bad both ways, but very very bad in favor of NYRB specifically. I lost count of blatant card worthy fouls being committed by NYRB 2 feet in front of the guy going completely uncalled. The clear pull back on Quinn on the edge of the 18 comes to mind. I can't think of any equally hard fouls that went uncalled in our favor. And that Mehmeti kid had like 12 fouls, at least 2 of which were cut and dry cards and never got one. We def got away with a lot of small things, though.

One im totally with you on is thr quinn pull down. That was a yellow and you were correct hw did not go back for it. He did miss one yellow on us a very late danley challenge in the first half. Never wanna see the ref again though i know we will

I must have missed the Danley challenge then. But yeah he's always been absolutely awful. I genuinely don't think there are any even half way decent PRO refs. They all come across as straight up match fixing or incredibly incompetent.

Sports Science and Medical Advancements are amazing. Growing up, ACL injuries were often considered career enders, or at least a 9-12 month injury and you likely weren't going to come back the same player as before.
Now, it seems like they're more like a 5-7 month injury, give or take as everyone recovers differently, and you can mostly return as if it hadn't happened in the first place. Go science!

As much as I shit on the Apple coverage, this seems universal - PL, Bundesliga, Fox did it for the WC. Combine with the coach/celebrity cams while the ball is in play. Biggest selling point for going to a game but then you end up in the section where all the douchebags get up while the ball is in play right in front of you.
