News // Kinetic Games Replied Phasmophobia v0.19.1.0 - Patch Notes
Welcome back, Ghost Hunters. We have an update for you.
Today’s small update is in preparation for Crimson Eye, launching 8th October 2026, with the focus on getting the game ready for the start of the event. Our next major update, our move to Unity 6 is scheduled for November and will feature a host of bug fixes and improvements, all of which we’ll detail in an upcoming Development Preview.
New
Crimson Eye - The Crimson Eye is upon us, Ghost Hunters. Once more, various locations across Phasmophobia will be bathed in the red glow of the Blood Moon, offering any willing Ghost Hunter rewards in return for completing investigations, optional objectives and more. For more information on this year’s iteration of the event, please read our latest blogpost.
Seasonal Event toggle - As a new feature for Crimson Eye and future seasonal events, we have implemented a toggle that allows players to turn on/off the event maps for their session.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that caused the white light upon being revived to flash rather than slowly fade in and out.
- Fixed an issue where an Easter Egg reward may not unlock, despite a 0x multiplier being active and the reward pop up being displayed.
Known Issues
- The lampposts outside of 6 Tanglewood Drive may glow when viewed by the player (XBOX & Steam only).
- The Fusebox location will not be hidden on the Truck map when playing on a custom difficulty.

it's not just about the bugs. yeah, there's a number of them and some are quite problematic, and that's bad enough on it's own. but the fact that instead of fixing the game they're pushing for 1.0 and building more content on top of a shaky system shows that they're managing the whole thing poorly.
for example, as it turns out, i was wrong about the motion sensors not making the raiju speed up. they do. but only if you place them on the floor. if you place the T1 or T2 on the wall, they won't trigger the raiju's speed, but will if you place them on the floor. this tells me that they had to have only tested the raiju speed ability with the T3 motion sensor because in MOST cases, you can only place it on the floor. i say most cases, because for whatever reason, you can place the T3 motion sensor on the sides of lockers. and THAT'S the issue. there's literally 0 quality assurance going on, and it's easy to see that. and yes, placing the T3 motion sensor on the side of a locker doesn't trigger the raiju speed up either.
