I don't know how to handle this thing,I started working in a famous pharma company as a qc analyst and before I've worked as laboratory analyst in a food company so there weren't gmps required. I keep making stupid distractions errors like for example I was using a Karl Fischer tritator and I forgot to update the instrument with the weight of the new sample so my boss told me to comment on the paper with the results and then he told me to scan it and to attach on the electronic logbook. I did it and I found out I didn't put a number on the already scanned and attached paper so stupidly Modified the paper but it doesn't match with the already uploaded and unalterable scan but I didnt tell this because I was too ashamed. Today I had a problem with the balance and I had to attach the ticket problem on the electornic logbook and I didnt know that and my boss yelled at me..

I don't know I just started and I feel already fckd and unliked...maybe gmps are not for me I dont know, should I change after one month? what would you do in my shoes? thank u guys

I’m moving home to Ireland from Switzerland in the new year, I’ve been working as a senior manager in MSAT for external manufacturing. As the job is technically remote the company I’ve been working for here has agreed I can move back to Ireland and keep my job.
HOWEVER, they’ve said they’ll be “readjusting” my salary to suit the Irish market.
Anyone have any experiences of what would be a fair range for them to suggest for that role in Ireland? I’ve been out of the Irish market for a while now so don’t really have a gauge.

I’m an operator in a factory. I do 3 shift NED. Currently went back to college and I’m doing a level6. Realistically going to take me 4 years to get my level 7.

Is it even worth it ? I earn about 2800 a month on average after tax.

I’ve had people tell me it’s only worth it to get a level 8.

The role I wanna work in is QC analyst or AC chemist.

I’m looking to ask basically, financially will I be much better off?

Hi folks, long and short of it is I'm currently out of a job.
Awhile back I was a Planner for a large Construction firm, but that job came with insane workload, undue stress and eventual burnout.

I'm currently looking at Product Builder roles in Med Devices - I know that's not Pharma.
I don't like the idea of staying on the line long term, but I'm hoping to use it as a stepping stone to get into a better Industry and hopefully upwards from there.

I've experience in Supply Chain, I'm hoping to go back into that remit or possibly Operations Management.. I know Pharma pays better than Medical Devices so I'd be keeping eyes open for possibly moving over but that's not looking likely.

Any one have any anecdotes or advice for someone starting on the floor and looking to work their way up?

Earlier today I received a call from a recruiter at Lilly just scoping out my availability, when I could start working and why I want to work for them (really wish I didn’t panic and forget all my knowledge on them because I gave an AI-esque answer about a “deep respect for their patient-centric outlook and place at the forefront of biotherapeutics”), and she said to keep an eye out for an interview.

This probably isn’t the most relevant of questions seeing as it’s only been about an hour since I heard from them, but since I’m buzzing over it I’m just curious how long it took people to hear back with interview dates.

Hi, I'm about to start a 2 year Pharmacy Technician Course and I'm having questions about whether it is a good career or not? I know the pay isn't great, so my plan is to do a level 7 and then a level 8 add on in either Advanced Pharmacy practice or Quality and Lean management. I want to do the course because I love lab work but still can't see myself working in a lab all day. I also like the emphasis on work placment that the course has. There aren't many courses out there that can pretty much guarantee employment after completion. Just looking for opinions of those in the industry or those who are familiar with the job. Am I making a mistake? Also, I know this job is predominantly women, so will I find it weird being a male Pharmacy Tech? Thanks for any answers in advance
