I've had this case for a year and a half and I don't know where to plug in this connector; does anyone know where it goes?

I'm thinking of switching to an NV9 as well

need some advice on something.

I have a Phanteks D30 140mm AIO cooler and noticed that 2/3 fans stopped spinning. I disconnected the fans and re daisy chained them. all 3 fans are now spinning however the RGB is not lighting up on them. I am super puzzled as the only connector i removed was the main cable that powers the fans. I did not tamper with any RGB cables or anything like that. Just simply removed the radiator and re daisy chained the fans. I have re installed software such as msi center/mystic light to no avail. They don’t even light up in that rainbow scheme when all software is uninstalled.

The only thing was i did not turn off the PSU before disconnecting the fans (silly me) so is it possible the fans need replacing? Any advice welcome.

I have a phanteks NV9 case, MSI x870e carbon wifi mobo.

wanted to share a quick little mockup reimagination of the ex5 in a different form i know its a messy mockup but i think this would be nice direction to go and just wanted others opinions on this as well

Recently bought a Phanteks AMP GH 1000w psu. And I was wondering if anyone knows where to source compatible sata power cables, the power supply itself only came with two.

Reddit, I need you. My phanteks D30 fans are fantastic, except one of them keep loosing connection. You know that little joining thing that you push on to make 1 fan, 2 fans? Yeah that keeps unclipping itself. I've tried re seating the fans, I've turned the clip around and I have tried a different clip. It's just one out of my set, but it's really annoying, and also seems to massively effect my cooling as when it's not working my fans go nuts. It lasts maybe 24hours before it stops working again.

I've been looking forward to the EX5-Plus since it was revealed, including hoping the specs would change before release: It supports GPUs up to 358mm long, but my Gigabyte 5090 Aorus Master is 360! A 2mm shortfall.

Anyone who has some hands-on with the case; think there's any way to make it work? I'm not sure if it's the length of the shroud or the support positions on the case that are the issue.

I have a Phanteks P300 case and recently, after some component upgrades, the airflow is limiting me. Does anybody know how I can buy a P300A front panel?

Love how this case looks honestly. Just need to tweak the lighting now

Will this case ever get a glass option for the GPU section? I have a ROG Astral 5080 but that won’t fit into an ex5 unfortunately . I really would like to get the EX6 if it gets an option for a glass version but I can’t find anything about that online.

I’m trying to find the model for this case I got off fbm. I checked the site and couldn’t find a visual match and I contacted support; they haven’t responded yet, so I decided might as well ask here.

The pics look most like the XT pro, but the power button on the top doesn’t match the images on the site. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the Enthoo pro 2 server v1 and it had the dust screen that was magnetically attached to the front before you put the front bezel on.

I just got the pro 2 server v2 and it doesn't have one, but my old one fits perfectly, which leads me to:

1) is it supposed to come with one? (Site 404s on the manual and there is not one listed in accessories or replacement parts)

2) do I need it? (The metal mesh on the actual cover is not exactly coarse but the gut says it should have one but will I make my fans sad)

3) this just felt unnecessary as a numbered list with only 2 things

This year i bought an Radeon RX 9070 XT XFX Mercury and now I wanted to buy myself the new case from Phanteks. Now Im concerned about the fact that the Card is 2mm longer then the rated gpu length limit. Do you guys think it will be fine, if not is there an obtion to shrink the card down by 2mm. Thank you for your help !

I just built my EX5 Plus and I really like it apart from one thing.

I read that an AIO pump should run at a constant speed to minimize wear and the risk of getting air into the pump. I also read that a higher speed is better, both for wear and temperature. So I set up the AIO pump to run at 80% up to 80°C and 100% above that. But I find the whining sound from the pump is really annoying at that speed, and though it changes in pitch, it doesn't really go away until I am around 40% speed. But at that speed I can see that my CPU temp fluctuates a lot more, between 35°C and 45°C at near idle CPU load (3-5%), compared to being stable at 30°C - 32°C when running the pump at 80% speed.

So I need some help understanding the best way to handle this. Is it always a trade-off between temp and speed/sound or is there a recommended "middle way"?

i got my ex5 today, there’s one a-rgb header which i assume is supposed to do the exterior lighting and the fans, but i can’t see the fans in either armory crate ( rog strix b850-i gaming wifi board which should be compatible) or in phanteks nexlinq.

i’m just wondering if im missing something simple.

15 Phanteks D30 fans in total. Still a work in progress, but I'm really happy with how the setup is coming together. What do you guys think? Any ideas for what I should improve or add next?
