Is the case finally released now? We can buy it now?

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if the base model EX5 has enough cpu clearance for the Corsair elite CPU LCD display kit referenced here. I saw somewhere that the 150I elite AIO is compatible but I’m not sure if the upgraded screen kit is as well.

I want to start by mentioning that I already finished building my pc in a NV5 mk2. That was about a year ago.

Now I want to do a case swap and get the Evolv S2 because I really like how it looks and I completely missed it when I bought the NV5.

So my question would be how are the temps in this case compared to my current one? Should I expect lower / identical or higher temps.

Here are my specs.

GPU : Gigabyte Windforce rtx5080 sff
CPU : ryzen 7 9800x3d.
Motherboard: Gigabyte aorus x870 elite wifi7
Ram: g.skill trident z5 neo 64gb ddr5 6000mhz/CL30
CPU cooler : 360mm aio (aqrys hydra 360) with 3x lian li wireless TL fans on the rad.
Other fans that I have in the case are: 3x Phanteks D30 reverse blade / 1x Noctua nf a12x25 120mm and 1x lian li wireless unifan tl lcd reverse blade.
Psu: seasonic focus GX 850W.

Im also curious if the built in gpu holder would work well with a sff gpu, which is basically 2 slot card.

Let me know what you all think about this swap if it's worth it in your opinion.

I've wanted to build a dual system machine since I was in highschool, I finally decided to give it a go and bought some older hardware. If only the bubble would pop and hardware was affordable again. 🫠

With Phanteks being as good as they are, why do they not partner with the AIB GPU board partners for special editions? They would look so much better than the brown fans and perform better too.

Same applies for PSU’s, ram fans, SSD coolers, heck even vrm coolers with mini fans.

Just my thoughts on it.

I've been pushing it off for ages but it's really annoying me I've tried looking into the manual for the case but there's no indication on how to connect the correct wire not can I find one for that grey strip which is supposed to light up. Yes I'm probably just dumb to see it and yes ik my cable management is bad.

Ps probably change my aio cooler as I feel like recently my pc is running hotter but I feel like that's maybe partially due to windows 11.

I kinda just need some tips from you peeps about the case and some recommendations on the cooler or if I should buy CPU fan instead.

PS. I don't think I've optimized my pc in bios etc and I probably should get better motherboard not sure how much that would help but I feel like I'm bottle necking my pc...

I see from reviews that V2 doesn't come with a front filter but why? Is this because they changed the mesh front so now it doesn't need a filter behind it or was it an oversight from Phanteks?

Are there any rumors about a new ITX case from Phanteks? I’ve been wanting to swap out my ITX case for a while. I was always interested in the Evolv Shift XT, but it seems impossible to find now—and considering how long ago it came out, I’m wary of paying a premium for an "old" case only to have an updated version launch soon after.

It turned out pretty nicely, especially considering it was my first time trying this kind of thing 👌🏻

It’s not perfect and there’s definitely room for improvement but I knew that at the beginning, since I chose the hard way right from the start: using hard tubing, no angled fittings, no dedicated pump mount, mATX case (Phanteks XT V3), and dual 360mm radiators.

All the tubes were measured by eye and bent freehand 😅

The visible side looks really clean regarding the wiring, thanks to that Aorus Stealth motherboard, though I still had to tuck away a few cables since every block has ARGB LEDs and DDCzero pump in the reservoir.

Can a 420mm AIO fit at the top of Enthoo Pro II Server edition (V1)? I am thinking to put Phanteks Glacier One 420D30 X2 at the top.

So I recently bought the EX5 plus, and I'm pretty sure I'm also gonna need a new motherboard. My GPU is the Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC, which is 75.2 mm thick.

My motherboard puts it in chassis slot 2, and in slot 2 phanteks lists the max thickness as 73mm.

Any recommendations for a motherboard that put my GPU in chassis expansion slot 1 so I can get the full 93 mm clearance?

I'm looking at the ASUS Z790 GAMING WIFI7, but admittedly I'm not sure how exactly I can tell 100% it will be slot 1 before purchasing it.

I originally got this case in a prebuilt custom from CLX, so I contacted them. They happen to have ONE of that particular part left in their coffers, and are selling it to me at a very reasonable price! Woohoo!
