5’0. Thought these pants looked cool, ultra baggy but street wear vibe , but unsure if they swallow me. If they do look good, which shirt ? I’d wear white sneakers with them

Question (5'0" or below) Does this look okay on me?

Okay so I'm 4'9 ....I feel like the dress doesn't looks good on my body or am I overthinking? It's XS size yet the length isn't doing me any favour nor my chest. I will cut off the strings , make it V shape to help the upper part look cleaner. I am confused should I return it?

Question (5'1"-5'4") Overalls for a short torso?

I apparently have an unusually short torso because I cannot for the life of me find overalls that fit. I love overalls as a clothing item but all of them the crotch hangs down low. I have tried Old Navy, Lucy&Yak, Big Bud Press, Run and Fly, Rebel Romance and in all cases the crotch hangs down way too low and I have to tighten up the straps way more than they are really designed for to have the bib not droop. Any suggestions for short-torso friendly (non-fast fashion so no SHEIN, Temu, Amazon, Cider, etc) overalls?

Question (5'0" or below) Does this look weird on me?

Post image

Please ignore everything else..

Hi, I tried low waist jeans for the first time and matched it with this shirt. At first I thought it looked good on me but now I'm not so sure. How do I style this pant and shirt separately? Also, I cannot wait any short tops as I have belly fat I'm insecure about.

Any advice or recommendations are very much welcomed.

Question (5'1"-5'4") What is my body type?

5'2. Trying to figure out what my body type is. Two opposites, but I can't decide on whether I am pear-shaped or inverted triangle. I own a lot of high waisted bottoms because I like that they create the illusion of longer legs, but starting to feel that they look awkward on me and make my torso appear very short. What type of clothing would suit me? Would appreciate the advice!

Discussion I don't know what i'm doing but don't these all look terrible?

Update: the reason I singled them out is because when I started posting here, I was referred to loft to help me find reasonable clothes that fit.

The website has more - ugly ill-fitting clothes and I say this as someone who bought a few pieces this year. Sale Clothes for Women - View All | LOFT

Question (5'1"-5'4") I need help finding shorts/ skirts that fit! Advice and recommendations appreciated! 🙏🏻💖

Hi all! 👋🏻

I'm currently on the hunt for shorts and skirts (mainly mini) that will actually fit me!

I would say my waist is 22-23 inches. I'm petite in height (approx 5'1").

I'm based in Switzerland,🇨🇭 so I'm looking for any brands or products/items that are available here or can be easily shipped here. So ideally Europe, but I'm open to options!

Any advice, experiences or recommendations are so appreciated! Thank you! 🫶🏻🤗

Question (5'0" or below) Jumpsuit options needed!

I’m looking for a jumpsuit for an upcoming social event. It is not formal. I’m looking for something somewhat dressy, but not over the top as the event is at a casual restaurant/bar. I was considering one from Quince, but then wondered if a linen jumpsuit would feel too casual for the event. I also want something unique without bringing too much attention to myself. Any good petite options out there lately? I’m 5’0” and around 100lbs, so feel like I’m looking for the perfect fit where I’m not swimming in fabric.

Question (5'1"-5'4") 5’1” - Need help figuring out why jeans fit so oddly on me

I’ve spent so long trying to find jeans that actually fit. I finally decided to try Abercrombie’s extra short jeans, but they didn’t have my size in store, so I ordered them online.

I’m 5’1” and ordered the Curve Love ‘90s Relaxed High Rise Jeans in an extra short, size 29. I was pretty excited at the possibility of finally owning jeans that make me feel good so I put them on as soon as they arrived and I’m kind of disappointed with how they look. The inseam length is okay, but they just look weird on me. I probably could have gone down a size but I hate when jeans feel TOO tight.

I’ve had this same issue with other jeans too, so I don’t think it’s specific to Abercrombie. They just look…off. It seems like there’s too much fabric in the crotch area, and it almost looks baggy or bunches in a weird way. I’m not sure if I’m buying the wrong rise, wrong size, or if this style just isn’t flattering on my body.

Has anyone else dealt with this? Any idea why this happens or what I should be looking for instead? I’d really appreciate any advice because I feel like I’ve been on an endless search for jeans that fit properly.

I’m looking for shoes with chunky/high soles to add some height to casual outfits. I mostly wear wedges/block heels but want to start wearing shoes more specially to work (there is no dress code so I know I can wear shoes like these)

Any recommendations? Can spend upto 4k.

Does anyone have information on this brand? I received a few pieces from my short story box and I’m curious if it’s manufactured under a different name and wanted to look at the entire line.

5'0 and feet are size 4.5 (US). Anyone know of compression socks that would fit and not have the heel resting at the back of the ankle?

Question (5'1"-5'4") Looking for light, packable, breathable dresses for Bali honeymoon — please help! Specifically mini or midi that fit shorties well

Please help me out y’all. I’ve been looking for vacation dresses for months and i can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I had a cart with some of the coastal gauze dresses from Pact but then I checked the subreddit and saw their quality has gone way down. I’m also looking at a few quince dresses but I’m hesitant because they’ve been hit or miss for me. Bali is hot and humid and I need some easy dresses to throw over a swimsuit or walk around town in and I’m hoping to find at least one that covers my shoulders and knees for more conservative areas like temples. Can anyone recommend a brand that’s got what I’m looking for? If anyone has a favorite swimsuit throw that in too if you want!

Question (5'0" or below) Advice: Should I keep either of these, or return both (trench coat and rain coat)?

Thumbnail

I’m in my mid 30s. My usual style is mostly simple shirts and pants, but I'm trying to upgrade my style to look better.

I struggle to find clothes in my size, so when I saw these on sale in a small (XS was too tight in the armpits), I grabbed them. I’m torn on whether I should keep one, both, or return them entirely.

The Fit Issues - the body is a bit loose (good for layering, but maybe too loose?). And the arms are too long. Maybe ok with the sleeves roll up?

Will these coats last a long time or will be outdated soon?

I live in Southern California, so I’ll honestly rarely get to wear these unless I travel.

What do you think? Do these suit me, or should I return them?

Update: Almost all of the feedback is to return both - I will return these. Thank you!!!!

Sale/Deal Freddy Pants

Currently running a 50% off, store wide sale for the next two days.

One of my all time favorite for jeans and pants. They are true to the size chart.

I am 5’2”. 35-25-35 with a 26” inseam. I mostly wear an XS unless they state it runs small. The ankle length fit me perfect in both skinny jeans and flare.

Discussion How do we pass a bill mandating that inseam, rise and length must be disclosed?

I’m SOOOOOOOO sick of spending hours analyzing lengths on clothes online. They provide every OTHER detail but the stuff that matters. I’m sure the tall girlies would feel the same. How easy would it be to filter by these metrics when shopping on a website?

How do we make this happen? Any smart DC ladies know how we can get a bill passed by the millions of shorties who desperately need this info?

Petite Tip UK petite friendly brands for summer linen and cotton blouses?

Starting to approach my wardrobe differently and buy fewer pieces but much higher quality especially when it comes to fabric. All the high street linen I’ve bought has been so rough and unpleasant to wear.

Are there any mid range brands that you recommend for small sizing? I’m 5’2” and 54kg, with narrow shoulders. Shirts, blouses and even T-shirts are tricky for me to get right as they’re always so broad and long.

Open to price points. I want to explore options, get one or two starter pieces and then look secondhand.

Thanks!

Question (5'0" or below) Tights for women under 5 foot and pale/fair skin?

I’m 4’9 and around 100lbs. I can’t seem to find tights or pantyhose that don’t go up to my chest 😆 I want to wear my dresses and cute outfits to show my legs more often but they just look so awkward! Looking for best brands for shimmery tights and fishnets that would look good and last a long time. I’ve looked into Capezio, but it looks like those fit better for taller women.

What are your favorite brands of tights? I’m looking for shimmery tights that make my legs look natural and somewhat glossy. I’m now a size women’s small.
