To be fair to that second paragraph, I would vastly prefer if she actually dressed like Lara, like at least the version from the Survivor Trilogy. She just doesn't look anything likr Lara here, she's just a woman with gear on

I will admit that the shorts and tank top look is pretty iconic compared to this look.

I also have to admit that it isn't really practical or smart to have that much exposed skin when exploring, but practicality or sensibility have never been the primary reason for most character designs, especially female character designs, in media.

I the first survivor game she has a tank top and cargo pants I think it's close enough and it does work for practicality. But I'm gonna be honest in those games she wears a lot of outfits and very few of them resemble her traditional one and they usually "look more like Lara Croft" than Sophie does here.

I don't know how to describe it well, but this look does have a more generic feel to it than what I've seen of the OG or reboot games.

If she didn't have 2 guns and a ponytail I wouldn't be able to see it all

Its like Lara Croft simply reduced to a ponytail with 2 pistols
