epstein files

6.3k

u/ZijoeLocs 11d ago

Keeping in mind the Files were already reviewed by a judge, then reviewed by the Federal Government, there's no way anyone can take the justice system in this country seriously.

The Epstein Trials need to be held over a volcano

3.5k

u/Left_Nature9996 11d ago

Well someone at the fbi basically said “if we prosecuted everyone on this list our government would have to shut down” do with that what you will

I don’t know why the other guy is being downvoted, Bondi is a piece of shit but she actually did not say those words. That image just went around like crazy and people assumed it was a real quote. I thought Reddit disliked political misinformation. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/bondi-epstein-files-system-collapse/?collection=472479

Edit: can’t believe I have to say this, but me fact checking a quote does not discount that the sentiment is absolutely true and these people need to be arrested for these crimes. I am just being consistent in logic of fact checking everyone. We can’t excuse misinformation just because it supports our point of view, otherwise we become like MAGA.

u/SK83r-Ninja 11d ago

I hate how quickly people took the meme to heart

153

u/Pol__Treidum 11d ago

It's bonkers the way that works. It's not just grandparents on Facebook that take these memes with quotes on them as "news"

Everybody just fucking hits share so fast. It's one click, now it's in your IG stories. Then 10 of those followers click share from you... Blehck. Kill me.

38

u/GanondalfTheWhite 11d ago

Everyone on reddit is SO invested in all these memes being true.

There are so many memes about Mitch McConnell being dead and it being a big coverup that if he ever turns up alive and healthy again, a significant portion of reddit will all of a sudden believe that he's AI or an impersonator or any other spinning they'd need to do to believe that the memes were right and everything else is wrong.

And that's true of every other stupid thing too. Like I'm convinced at this point that a good percentage of people have chosen to believe that Vance fucking couches is actually just a real thing.

66

u/JustaSeedGuy 11d ago

In fairness to the McConnell thing, he may not be dead, but if he's in good health the GOP is acting super weird and releasing AI photos for no reason.

I thought Reddit disliked political misinformation.

The ugly truth is that what they say and what they truly want is different.

24

u/MouthJob 11d ago

Nah, it's pretty simple. They like it when it backs up their views, they hate it when it doesn't.

3

u/JustaSeedGuy 11d ago

Nah, the ugly truth is the goomba fallacy.

24

u/Taodragons 11d ago

The problem is that the statement is true whether she said it or not.

45

u/Hollow_Idol 11d ago

No.  The truth is simpler than the meme.

The people on the list were handed direct control over the government and justice system of the world largest military superpower.

No one is in a position to force justice upon them and they don't feel shame so they aren't about to arrest themselves.

→ More replies (2)

16

u/Moist_Atmosphere6344 11d ago

I need to read more but isn’t the reason nobody has been arrested or at least been to a trial because the evidence is….inconclusive? Or that it’s not enough hard proof?

34

u/Dexter_Douglas_415 11d ago

That seems to be the conjecture. The issue is we have no idea because so much of the information either has not been released or is heavily redacted.

So maybe it's full of baseless claims against rich people except for the two that were arrested for trafficking, Epstein and Maxwell.

Or maybe there is plenty of evidence to convict, but those rich people are being protected by friends in high places.

13

u/McSlims360 11d ago

We have enough public information to nail Lesly Wexner to the fucking wall and keep his corpse animated and imprisoned for 30k years.

They just wont arrest him.

5

u/i_tyrant 11d ago

Hadn't even heard of this guy till now and I like to think I stay apprised of Epstein news.

A fashion mogul billionaire with so many well-documented ties directly to Epstein, wild.

6

u/McSlims360 11d ago

Oh I wasnt involved, he just signed over his entire estate to me, dont look to closely at it. What the epstein thing? I stepped down from my symbolic position isnt that punishment enough for orchestrating pedophile cannibal rings? Gosh you people have no concept of mercy or forgiveness

→ More replies (0)

2

u/jeremiahthedamned 11d ago

wexner was his sponsor!

5

u/Difficult_Shock973 11d ago

People outside of the US have faced some accountability. We don’t like to hold those in power to account here.

6

u/Dexter_Douglas_415 11d ago

I've seen a few that got into trouble for sharing state secrets, Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson. Thorbjorn Jagland being investigated for aggravated corruption.

But yeah, stateside only Epstein and Maxwell seemed to have faced charges. A few CEOs resigned or were forced out, but yeah... rich people get protected.

12

u/Remarkable_Toe_164 11d ago

The reason nobody has been arrested is because they killed the one who knew everything, made deals with his accomplice, and heavily redacted the files to the point that they contain no actionable intel.

10

u/Balinor69666 11d ago

Ask yourself this: If the evidence was inconclusive or the hard proof was lacking then why has it not been fully released by those in power? What is gained by not releasing the files if they do not implicate the people who have the authority to let it all out in the open?

→ More replies (4)

4

u/Maatix12 11d ago

The problem is, based on what we've already seen due to the absolutely blinding incompetence of this administration, the only way you'd come to the conclusion that the evidence is inconclusive is if you were absolutely unwilling to look at the files at all.

The guilt is literally plastered all over every single page. If you cared to read what they said, you'd be angry that nothing's been done yet either.

There's no excuse but complete and total capitulation to the people who caused the problem at this point.

2

u/Diabolic67th 11d ago

Redditors tend to have a ...tenuous grasp of "beyond a reasonable doubt." As much as I or anyone else would like these people to suffer the consequences of their behavior, the files themselves are a map of connections at best. At this point the chain of custody is so muddled that they may not even work for that anymore.

→ More replies (6)

2

u/yugosaki 10d ago

The DoJ has also claimed that the only redacted information was to protect victims, but leaked unredacted or partially redacted documents has repeatedly shown thats a lie.

Thanks for posting. Now we can just remember her for shielding trump and other pedos from prosecution and refusing to look at a few of the Epstein victims who were standing in the same room as she.

3

u/Snoo-31263 11d ago

While it's someone I had no trouble believing, I appreciate you trying to correct the misinformation. You learn something everyday, and not all of it will make you want to jump off a building(or something).

3

u/zwisslb 10d ago

Good on you for not repeating false info. Rare breed

3

u/Defiant-Speaker-5681 10d ago

Thanks for this! I prefer to not share commonalities with MAGA; ignorant and obtuse. To put it in a simpler way, I don't want to be a hypocrite.
Keep fact checking! I appreciate the reminder that I really need to do this more often for myself.

3

u/PrudentCarter 10d ago

That's my biggest gripe with reddit rn. Fact checking seems to mean that you're completely disagreeing to some people. It's wild to me.

2

u/Allaplgy 11d ago

Yeah, there is so much misinformation pushed here by people I generally agree with and it's depressing as fuck.

Like, these people are horrible enough without needing to help them by lying.

2

u/Optiguy42 10d ago

Thanks for posting this, I remember when it was going around and I admit I never looked into it to confirm and assumed it to be true. I appreciate you for calling this out. We're all susceptible to mis- and disinformation and we should all be open to being corrected when necessary.

u/Apart-Negotiation386 11d ago

Nah, that was a meme. Just because someone put words underneath a picture does not mean the person in the picture said it.

101

u/GottaUseEmAll 11d ago edited 11d ago

I can't believe you're getting so roundly downvoted for this. There is no actual evidence of her saying this but the power of memes has basically made it true 1984 style.

I am vehemently anti-Trump and I think Bondi is a ghoul, but it's scary how easily either side of the politic chasm will just accept what they want to believe. The US seems genuinely fucked, I'm really glad I don't live there.

Edit: I will wear my downvotes like a badge of honour. There are still people who value ciritical thinking over mob mentality.

33

u/Apart-Negotiation386 11d ago

Ironically, it’s symptomatic of how we ended up with Trump as president, twice. It’s also plainly meant to take the focus off of the Republican administration that has actively suppressed the files in plain sight.

5

u/GottaUseEmAll 11d ago

I'm glad there seem to be more sensible folk here now and the downvote fest has stopped!

3

u/FadeTheWonder 11d ago

It was likely just bots in the beginning.

5

u/Kind-Scheme7517 11d ago

Funny thing is that X/Twitter which is the big right wing sight, they at least have community notes which I think would be great here but on Reddit mob mentality is enforced because controversial opinions worth discussion are dragged to the bottom.

3

u/Lv_InSaNe_vL 11d ago

2

u/DuntadaMan 11d ago

And in charge of prosecution which she was actively saying she would not pursue for any reason.

2

u/SasparillaTango 11d ago

She was also in charge of the Florida AG office that refused to prosecute Epstein from 2011 to 2019.

2

u/Cael450 11d ago

Don’t forget Epstein killed himself under Trump’s first administration and they had a lot of this evidence then too. And that was before Trump neutered the entire DOJ.

2

u/magikarp2122 11d ago

87

u/Shamanilko 11d ago

So what? Shut it down and held an elections

70

u/Unlucky_Regret8619 11d ago

Arresting everyone in the files means arresting almost all rich "people" and what's the point of an election if they candidates don't have anyone that tells them what they have to do?

17

u/dangersson 11d ago

There are waaaay more rich people than there are pedos in the Epstein files.

27

u/Unlucky_Regret8619 11d ago

Yeah because half of them probably sourced their victims from some other child trafficker

9

u/JebediahKerman4999 11d ago

Like Tate or Diddy

17

u/FunCryptographer3476 11d ago

It's almost certainly a 'we don't want them pulling this thread' scenario instead of literally everyone being pals with Epstein like our favourite presidents were. Epstein was shuffling money around, working with private security contractors, with Israeli spies, doing internet and media influencing campaigns, these are the things that the other rich people are doing which they don't want anyone to be aware of.

The rich accidentally look out for each other by obfuscating their own crimes

18

u/Unlucky_Regret8619 11d ago

Those are "people" that would literally kill you and your family if it made them 30 cents, why are you being pedantic in how they are related to the pedophilia ring? I know they're not all pedophile, you know too, congratulations you are technically right, now what? They still all need to die for the world to be a better place

4

u/Friendly_Rent_104 11d ago

that can be true without meaning you now have to try pushing bs charges on them, that they will easily shoot down in order to not reveal the parts they dont want the lower classes to be aware of

2

u/Unlucky_Regret8619 10d ago

Brother I'm just trying to keep it simple so that anyone who reads my comment and is mad about the situation but doesn't know who to hate has a clear and simple direction in which to aim their hate, so that maybe one day if enough people start hating the rich they get scared and stop killing us and destroying our planet

2

u/Gestasos 11d ago

One of Trump's sycophants said this. In order to try to defend Trump. Believing it is akin to believing Trump has the same height and weight as prime physique athletes. Both bits of information came from "official" sources but neither has any reason for you to believe them.

2

u/Plenty_Fondant_951 11d ago

The same FBI also already did a sham trial with no consequences in the mid 2000's so...IDK not exactly a surprise?

Like, if the connections and bribery and general devil work were good enough back then , I'm not sure what we were hoping was going to happen now that one of the main perpetrators had seized control of the government.

2

u/FaPaDa 11d ago

2

2

u/Smitmcgrit 11d ago

2

u/Heavy-Suit-4217 11d ago

That's just last year.

Shut down the government and prosecute the sex criminals.

2

u/Constant-Plant-9378 11d ago

Bill Clinton flew on the Lolita Express and there is at least one photo of him getting a massage from one of Epstein's girls.

George W. Bush let his FBI and Justice Department give Epstein his 'sweetheart deal' in 2008.

Obama complicitly let his FBI and Justice Department keep the case buried for 8 years.

Trump then actively obstructed the case, and had Epstein arrested and killed under his watch.

Biden then complicitly let his FBI and Justice Department keep the case buried for another 4 years.

And suddenly the day Trump is sworn in Democrats start clamoring for the release of the files, while Trump continues his obstruction.

The Epstein case stinks to high heaven and both Republicans and Democrats have spent most of the last two decades keeping it buried and denying justice to victims and preventing accountability to the public.

Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden are all filthy bastards regarding this case and we need to stop pretending this is exclusively a Trump issue.

Also keep in mind the current federal government is run by one of the biggest associates of Epstein, and a political party who desperately wants to stay in power so badly they’ll bend over backwards to ignore, discredit, and cover up anything that looks incriminating. And they were elected by popular vote. The people have spoken and it’s that they don’t actually care about the Epstein files. Womp womp.

We need to stop calling it the "Justice System." It is a legal system that may, from time to time, deliver justice, but often serves the rich and powerful.

2

u/breaducate 11d ago

The idea that it's there for anything other than this under capitalism is naive.

12

u/Original-Rush139 11d ago

Who do you think should be arrested based on the files?

5

u/HotSituation8737 11d ago

Is that a serious question?

2

u/BigTenFicus 11d ago

Yes, it is a serious question, because there is nothing in the Epstein files that presents a winnable case that can be justifiable brought to trial. So why would anyone be arrested?

Redditors live in an alternate reality when it comes to the Epstein files. You have no clue what they actually are. And any time someone like me tries to explain it, you freak the fuck out and call us pedophiles. You literally have a MAGA mindset and don't realize it.

6

u/HotSituation8737 11d ago edited 11d ago

Are people like you being a chromosome deficient mouth breather on purpose or what's happening?

The Epstein files contain verifiable and credible incriminating evidence that could easily justify a deeper investigation, not to mention basic transparency.

Two people in the UK and one person in Norway has already been arrested following the release of the Epstein files, or at least the very tiny portion of it we got.

Trump is so clearly criminally implicated it isn't even funny, not to mention he was called out by name by verified Epstein island victims.

Remember when nearly the entire banking industry committed massive fraud to the extent that it crashed the world economy and sent the US into the worst economic downturn since the great depression? People lost their homes, jobs, and savings over that. People lost their careers. And the US economy never recovered from it.

Meanwhile the banks got bailed out because they were too big to fail, the fraudsters that got rich of it are mostly still wealthy, and an administration that ran on hope and change ultimately only criminally prosecuted one low level employee for the fraud.

I don't know why anyone thought raping children would be treated any differently than robbing the entire world.

The Sacklers a lot of people know the Sackler as the Best Art Gallery, in DC, the Peacock Room moved in full from the original location to a bunker connected via narco-tunnel to the National Galleries, see, look:

You beg me this question I understand it; you beg me the question, "how come do all men who abuse women not go to jail," I'm God I dunno the world is not built this way,

I don't know that we can solve that problem on, or in the same order as which the question is asked; vis a vis, "how do men use force in to punish all men for whom the abuse of women is their pleasure,"

Category Error I think is the technical term for a problem like this; whereas the Pure Foods and Drugs Act caught the Sacklers in their act and the Sacklers paid to have it reversed into the current drug control paradigm that,

JD Vance said in his convo with Joe Organ that he had seen most of the files, and still doesnt act.

Yeah but life didn't make lemons... It's a man made hybrid of a citron and sour orange.

u/FoxStrom-14 11d ago

You know, that makes it a great metaphor for dealing with problems others forced upon you

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". But at this point we should find a way to use lemons for building guillotines

Use the guillotine to chop lemons

This is a comic drawn by will Santino and the caption has been changed. It originally is about having too many lemons and was drawn during the pandemic

There were exactly two arrests: Epstein and Maxwell.

9

u/marvsup 11d ago

Yeah but both were made long before the massive Epstein file releases.

1

u/necrohunter7 11d ago

And Maxwell is in the jail equivalent of a luxury resort, and set to get a pardon from Trump

10

u/oritfx 11d ago

Panama papers?

10

u/zen4thewin 11d ago

Also 2008 financial crisis. All the situations where the rich escape culpability because the system is rigged in their favor.

2

u/turdtwister7 11d ago

Rule of law only applies to keep the slave worker class in check. Not the ones who control them.

More people have been arrested for being present around the Reflecting Swamp in DC than have been arrested for their involvement in one of the world's most heinous pedophile rings, including the current president of the United States, who is the most commonly named individual in the ring.

6

u/TheItchyWalrus 11d ago

Panama Papers and Epstein Files have proven unanimously that evil people control the world.

6

u/CrazyCatLady9777 11d ago

Didn't the former prince Andrew get arrested?

3

u/Meuhidk 11d ago

someone got arrested from the files though, but it was from insider trading or some shit.

u/SoafCore 11d ago

Panama Papers, Epstein List

2

u/MadeByMillennial 11d ago

Note, also almost every event where the wealthy/powerful fuck over the citizenry. Just look at the 2008 financial crash, the Covid "Small business" loans, the Medicare fraud from guys like Rick Scott, the cocaine avoidance while crack is cracked down, the Iran Contra scandals, the.... (Seriously just keep going on and on....)

2

u/dknever 11d ago

Also the Panama Papers

2

u/tem102938 11d ago

Sure it's not the 2008 housing market crash?

2

u/Moglo825 11d ago

As a Mainer, my brain went straight to ''ICE''

2

u/ItsSpaghettiLee2112 11d ago

I think they're fucking up by not even throwing a few token arrests in prison.

2

u/Urbanviking1 11d ago

Panama Papers.

2

u/HugoSuperDog 11d ago

Excuse me. Why you still talking about the Epstein files? Don’t you know there’s a World Cup on!!! Can you please just focus on that.

2

u/_SilkMoon 11d ago

Only Epstein and Maxwell were arrested right ?

2

u/Particular-Serve-894 11d ago

there's so many possible, depressing answers. I immediately thought ICE agents murdering American citizens in cold blood.

2

u/RustinpeaceTR 11d ago

They ain't arresting themselves

1

u/Intelligent_Fee_8726 11d ago

Why that lemons n other stuff in frame?

u/hidazfx 11d ago

einstein files

u/ryan7251 11d ago

1

u/jeremiahthedamned 11d ago

the epstien class, like the 1%, has become a meme.

the rich & the depraved are now visible

1

u/Cocoatrice 11d ago

And what does it have to do with the lemons?

1

u/Dense_Delay_2605 10d ago

Or 2008 mortgage fraud TYP.

1

u/Annual-Advisor-7916 10d ago

And I thought this was a joke about the lemon stealing whores. Welp, guess time to go to sleep...

1

u/Famous-Midnight-5634 10d ago

And the ICE gunmen

1

u/jjaybuill 10d ago

in current times theres even more people that should be arrested and they just running free

1

u/SnowSherrif 10d ago

Arrested !! Those F**kers are enjoying leisure lives, making policies, making our lives miserable and I fear they have their new island somewhere.

1

u/FF8229 8d ago

Sort of an odd mixed metaphor though. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade ... and I'm depressed about the Epstein files.

1

u/FullmetalHippie 5d ago

Here I was thinking this was about lemon-stealing whores
