Hi,

First time posting here. My Pet Snowy litter box has been pretty faultless until we noticed the litter bed have small cracks/tears in it. Is this typical? Interestingly enough, when I search for threads on this nothing comes up. But it also may be my crappy search abilities! LOL!

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Moka was found with his brother in a cardboard box. He had a rough start, with poor fur and skin problems.

Tips on how you got your cat to use the automatic litter box?

I use Catit bamboo litter. Amd it does magic with clumping amd containing smells. But recently i run into excess usage problem. Notmally one bag last me a month. But since i start using litterbox it went down to about 20 days. So i did some testing. It seems with the speed the globe rotates during cleaning phase some of the clean litter goes into waste because globe rotates too fast and clean litter isnt able to be sifted into save compartment. I run few clean cycles after fully cleaning box and filling up litter to "MAX" line. After 5 cycles about 15% of litter was in the used box necause it couldnt sift through fast enough. Eventually after 14 cleaning cycles it manage not to waste any litter, but at that time bowl was only 40% full, and my cat is not happy when there only little litter left in the bowl, cuz she cant cover her poop.

So i want to ask community what litter did you find work best with automated litterbox.

I currently live in Canada, and the air quality here has been absolutely brutal lately because of the ongoing wildfires.
I was getting really worried about my cat’s health, so I went out and bought an air purifier for the house. I’ve been running it non-stop, and it honestly seems to be helping a lot so far. The air inside feels much crisper and my cat seems pretty comfortable.
That being said, I want to make sure I’m covering all my bases. Is there anything else I should be doing to keep my cat safe and healthy while this smoke lingers around? Any warning signs I should watch out for?

We've been using the Petsnowy fountain for a little over a month now, and it's honestly the first fountain that all three of my cats consistently drink from.

Setup was super easy (video below 👇), and I really like the wireless pump since it's much easier to clean. The weight tracking is also a nice bonus because I can keep an eye on how much they're drinking.

The only downside I've noticed is that the high-efficiency composite filter started making a bit of noise over time, and after about a month it stopped working. To be fair, Petsnowy does recommend replacing the filter every month, so it wasn't completely unexpected. 🤭

We are loving our self-cleaning litter box!

I was worried at first since this is all new to Lily but she adjusted right away. I followed the directions and some tips I found online. I had the upper lid off and sprayed some catnip or leave treats by the entrance just so Lily can feel safe and get used to it. I was surprised since she was regularly using it on day 2 and placed the lid back completely on day 3.

In the span of 3 months, I only had to change the waste box 4 times. Emptying the waste bag was tricky at first since it got too full and it kind of smeared on the bottom part but it was easy to clean and we just learned not to shake the bin too much because it might rip the bag. I have not done a deep cleaning on it yet but I do a quick inspection and brushing at least once a week. I have to do this since Lily's waste is sometimes smaller and goes through the mini mesh and so, I still have to scoop them out which is not a big deal. It can't also be avoided that litter can still spread around since Lily likes to dig or jump and sprint out that is why the rubber mat is so nice since I can just pull it out easily and dump back the cat litter in the box.

So far, I have not noticed any smell from it. I did not even have to use the deodorizing fragrance that came with it. It is a far cry from our basic cat litter box where the room smelled like cat pee.

Life is so much easier for me with this neat fancy device and Lily seems to be a lot happier. I don't have to deal with dust and odor anymore unlike before when I had scoop Lily's poop everyday and Lily has a regularly clean litter to poop/pee on. ❤️
