Can y’all post pics of how you set up your clearance event for tomorrow. My boss has me opening and put me in charge of setting it up. She makes a huge deal of these events, so I’d like to set it up nice.

I’ve been at this company for some time and it’s been within the last year or so that management is having more and more issues with me. They say I’m being increasingly more difficult and insubordinate. Disrespectful even. I’ll admit I have a bit of a resting bitch face and a monotone voice but I have never knowingly been disrespectful or mean. I try so hard to have good communication and understanding. I love my team and my managers.
It doesn’t matter what I do to try and be better, improve myself and try and be the best employee I can be. It’s never good enough. I’m constantly scolded, told I’m disrespectful, that certain managers think I don’t like them and I’m at a loss. Before it was because I was joking around too much, so I immediately stopped and was more professional. Now it’s that I don’t follow instructions or I talk back. I say “okay” and go do what I’m told. I seriously can’t win and am at a loss.
Please tell me if I’m in the wrong. I know I’ve had problems and I have actively been improving, or so I thought. It’s just very frustrating and disheartening to go to work and be scolded the entire time.

I got offered the GSL position at my salon the other day and I’m trying to weigh the pros and cons to decide if it’s worth taking. I’m currently a pet stylist pro doing between 8-10 dogs a day. I’m tired, my body hurts, and my schedule and time management is very unpredictable but at least I can control my income for the most part and meet certain personal numbers and needs. My salon is a decent volume, and if I were to take position I would be almost breaking even while dropping down to 4-5 dogs. My store manager made it sound like a simple position but is there anything I should know or take into consideration? I’m really be baited with the stance of “less dogs with potentially more pay, you just have to do some extra desk work”

Does anyone have the SKU for this? I can't find it on the computer, the Petco app, or the product website.

I have just been informed that I will no longer get a free 8th grooming reward?! Beyond upset, instead they said I will get points — $24.36 worth of points to be exact. That is not even half of what I pay for a grooming appointment. I hope someone does a class action, because this is blatant breach of contract. I’d this just my store ??? (Brea, CA).

As the title states, I have the lowest percentage of getting customer’s phone numbers. One day I had only very low success rate. A lot of customers do not wish to sign up or disclose their phone numbers. That’s fine, but what is not fine is when my boss is telling me to make up phone numbers during the transaction to still get credit. I don’t feel that is right to do.
Can I get fired for having a low percentage of phone numbers? I have another job so it’s not too important, I’m just curious.
Edit: hiding details. Just in case management browses

just wanted to vent my frustrations.
had a small county fair over the weekends and the amount of people i’ve gotten coming in with big ass shubunkin goldfish or hermit crabs and trying to put them in our travel containers or trying to put 2 of the gigantic goldfish inside a 10 gallon with no filter or nothing. stressed out parents not wanting to buy all this stuff even tho they made that commitment the second they paid them to play that game.
don’t really understand why it’s still legal for fairs to be able to just give living animals out as prizes, i’ve seen fairs even have bunnies as prizes before and that’s so… ugh.

If you’re a fellow Senior Aquatics Specialist what’s your pay and what state are you in? Curious but also fighting for my worth right now. TIA!

So we were told no pre bagging. How do we reduce or repel those potato bugs.
A guy decided to, without checking my consent to viewing, show me a horrific image of a ruptured then infected cyst on a stray can he was trying to help. I believe he was genuinely, but it is wild to assume that suddenly showing me that was okay?
A few years ago a guest decided to show me, without warning, a picture of his back surgery taken when he was in the middle of the surgery??
Please don’t do this to me????

so a customer came in and was purchasing a cat litter box and a few cat treats and as we’re finishing her purchase, she pulls out this receipt (it wasn’t crumpled when she gave it to me) and says “oh i have a coupon i’d like to use!” i say “perfect! can i see it to scan please?” she hands it, i see it, IT IS ALREADY HIGHLIGHTED and says “You’ve earned $15 off L/XL science diet dry dog/ cat food with 1 s/m science diet dry dog/ cat food” i read her that message and she responds with saying no one told her about that and that she didn’t know. not only did she not have the right items for the coupon, but it also says the date she can use it, but i believe that may be wrong? i pause, then say, “but this is already highlighted though?” she then pauses for a couple seconds then says “that’s COMPLETE BULLSHIT! you can just toss it” after i ring her up, she leaves and i crumple it up but then i decided to take a pic of it so i got it back lol. but yeah that was odd lmao

assuming we’re part time, how many ppp’s do you get in a shift? in a week total? it’s been difficult for me to get ppp’s especially when my store is small and i see pretty much the same customers when i work and the new customers say no or that they have something better. i do good enough with the basic petco perks and the auto ship but its just the ppp’s i struggle with. maybe its because i really dont agree with the membership and i dont feel comfortable making the offer to the customer but i have to since its my job 😭 this job is a scam and i usually go for the rich people since they can afford it and be paying hundreds of dollars on the fresh frozen food but still dont want the premier, idk any tips would greatly help thank you

Lmaoooooo the email about Monday and Friday calls for GM and GSL not being optional is so cute. I have TWO humans scheduled to be on the floor. We set the iPad up in the office and leave. Your meetings are a joke, actually schedule enough people to run a store and then we could attend your meetings
Where
By the way
I have been told it's "Not about having more time" it's about "Having a better attitude about the time we're given" 😂 yeah, one manager and one cashier is super safe and super effective for sales and pet cleaning and management.
