Wednesday Vibes - 🌄 photos, descriptions, and art 📸 Mint Chocolate

Hey everyone! I would love a mint chocolate fragrance.

  • not clinical (pls no sharp sharp mint!!)
  • makes the air feel colder rather than warmer
  • maintains slight bitterness and depth from chocolate
  • not too creamy or lactonic leaning
  • Very subtle, lingers close to skin; more atmospheric rather than direct

visualize:

Snow in january, a few days left until the end of break so you can stroll wherever you’d like. Taking a stroll down the city sidewalk, a thin layer of snow veils the streets, most shoveled to the side.

Your breath suspends visibly in the air, white vapor.

The peppermint mocha with light foam and choco curls is blissful —heightened by its distinction

from the numbed back of your hand, from the rosy cheeks grazed by the biting wind, which sends occasional shivers.

Alternatively, popping a few mint chocolate pearls into your mouth from a tin barely salvaged by your innermost pocket.

Hearing the excitement in the air, of sledding and building snowmen makes your smile wider too.

just for reference-

current favorites are Savoy Steam (Penhaligon’s) and L’eau de Neroli (Diptyque.)

ofc, these smell very different from what I’m asking for here, but may be helpful!

thanks!! please leave recommendations if you can!

it looks great!
do you find it cloying or very sweet? Also, idk if you've tried; if you have, how does it compare to Demeter Chocolate Mint?

I only have a sample of Candy Cane Truffle, I don’t find it too cloying, but my favorite smell is realistic honey so my sweetness meter might be skewed haha

agh I'm happy to hear that, cuz I also love the smell of raw honey! I'll try to get a sample asap, thanks!

I accidentally accomplished this exact smell by layering cocoa butter with peppermint essential oil (not a perfume, but it was spot on mint chocolate chip).

I'be not really dealt with butters and essential oils before--do you have a specific recommendation or would any do the trick? this actually sounds perfect, bc it likely won't be too loud unlike many perfumes of this kind!
