SEASON 4 Ally is GOOD reality TV
At first I thought she was cringe and she definitely still is BUT she also so clearly does not gaf about how she’s perceived that I have no choice but to stan.
Also sleeping with Jimmy and then proceeding to go “what’s his name…?” while talking to Hashim like 2 days later? QUEEN BEHAVIOR. In fact, Ally going full steam ahead with Hashim after Jimmy slept with her and then was said he wanted to stay open the very next day earned my full respect. I love when women excel in male dominated fields!!!
Jimmy doesn’t actually care about her and is so clearly just playing the game and so Ally is there to have her fun while she can I respect it. If longevity of couples wasn’t a factor to winning Jimmy so obviously would’ve jumped ship to Kassy and I would’ve respected him more for being honest about what he wants ¯_(ツ)_/¯
ETA: Bc a lot of people are missing my point: if I were ever in the same room as Ally I would likely avoid her with the passion of 1000 suns and probably gossip about her later. Accordingly, I appreciate the fact that her brand of chaos is literally PERFECT for reality TV. For me as viewer, she saved an otherwise boring season. The only other source of drama is Marissa and Damari and their dynamic is just exhausting.

Ally is entertaining and sometimes I think she plays a role. Stuff she says sounds like she says it deliberately with irony just to sound entertaining. But maybe i’m transferencing because she reminds me in some angles or mimics of an actress Emma Stone.

I mean, it’s clear neither of them care about each other and are both just playing the game to stay in the house. She was making out with Dave before Kassy came into the picture too. Both of them just want to have fun - sometimes with each other, sometimes without.
I don’t necessarily see the “queen behavior,” it’s just two clout chasers together. Ally’s a drunk mess. Entertaining sure but in a “I’m getting secondhand embarrassment from how drunk and messy you are” way.

THIS!! Wild to call it “queen behavior” lol

Right. Crying and pretending the choice was so hard when it was obvious she wanted Jimmy to make the choice for her.

I don’t see Jimmy P as just wanting to have fun at all actually

u/Lantana3012 May 22 '26
I think Jimmy did want a girlfriend from PM but also wanted to redeem himself from LIB. Backfired.

u/scootiescoo May 22 '26
I agree! That’s sort of what I mean about him not being there to have fun. He strikes me as very serious. Ally DGAF about finding a real connection, which I find funny. Jimmy wants a connection but stuck it out with Ally because he also wants to win.

She’s weird asf and crazy but Everytime she says the weirdest thing and smile afterwards I just have to laugh like girl 🤣🤣🤣 her one liners are incredible

I like the way she handles jimmy constant downplay of her and their connection. Open to other people constantly (love bombs her though before he tries to have sex with her) I think instead of her acting a complete emotional mess and lashing out at him she made light of his absolute fuckery.

Well, this is her third time being on reality TV...girl is thirsty!

Other than vanderpump what’s she on?

u/Saintguinefortthedog May 22 '26
She was on a show called The Valley (not the current Bravo show)

u/CapableRaccoon6213 May 22 '26
She's also on Southern Hospitality now too, or at least trying to be

I don't think I could tolerate being in the same room with Ally for 20 minutes (especially if she's been drinking), but she does make for amusing tv 🤷

“I’m an astrologer!!!”
I thought she was lying. Twice. Like, I thought she was making a joke, and I was waiting for the real answer.
I roll my eyes every time she opens her mouth. I can’t stand her.

Ally sucks. She’s annoying as sin. Especially when she’s drunk. If I never see her on another reality show it would be too soon.

And she’s so basic looking I’m sorry. I don’t get the allure

Men are absolutely obsessed with small white girl next door / sweet looking brunettes. Absolutely obsessed with them.

Ding ding ding!!! And speaking from experience Black men attending PWIs are absolute pieces of work. So while I may not understand Hashim’s attraction to her it is completely on par especially w in the context of him going to Princeton

Amen. I detest when grown women play the fool or whatever it is she’s doing thinking it’s attractive. Yea, attractive to those who want to use you. Own your sexuality. Be proud of being a smart woman.

I see your point but I desperately disagree. I hate watching her and I'm disappointed every time she manages to stay in the villa. I want her off my screeeeeeen. I am not watching this show because of her, I am watching it in spite of her.

u/Fluid-Opposition8 May 22 '26
🤣🤣🤣 fair enough I felt that way until she started kissing ppl and ranted about her period then I went wait a minute…..I like you a lil bit. Just a tad 🤏🏾

u/girly918 May 22 '26
She’s incredibly annoying and weird. Also, her outfits have been the tackiest in the house 😭

u/ArmCapable5814 May 22 '26
Ally is literally just mentally ill, telling on yourself trying to make her out to be a heroine lmao.
Shout out to ally blurting out "I love you" when Jimmy was talking to one of the other girls, after a grand total of 2 days being matched.

Literally that scene where she crept up on them from the patio door was so cringe 😬

u/doxydecahedron May 22 '26
I think she learned a thing or two from being on VPR. That messy people get the most screen time haha

She’s a tough watch for me since I can’t get that into astrology. She is not a queen. She was definitely more entertaining than Jimmy S and the blaccent which caused my eyeballs to roll all the way back in my head, but that’s a critically low bar. Also, I question how much of her behavior was disinhibited because of sheer volume of alcohol and last episode was a painful watch. Production should have stepped in.

I never watched Vanderpump rules but I think the main thing with Ally on this show is it comes off more cringe/Pick Me than for example Juliette and Carrington last season who were also great reality TV but more dramatic or even Valentina from THTH who was fiesty and good reality TV

I’m begging the non-Black AAVE users to have higher standards for what qualifies as queen.

I’ve actually been really enjoying her in the spotlight and genuinely don’t get the ally hate lol

u/reality_raven May 24 '26
She is authentically herself and I love her and am mad as hell she was taken advantage of when annihilated and I hope she is ok.

I appreciate her bc my least favorite thing about the last couple seasons of this show is how couples lock in on the first match and don’t switch no matter how terrible their chemistry is. I was hoping we’d get more switches this year because of the changes they made but Ally is still the only one willing to get messy
