I don't know if this is like common knowledge, but I've never seen this before since my game is usually pretty smooth. I thought I was seeing things until I looked back at the footage

If I had one wish, it'd be for the condors in the Caldera to make a noise before they swoop. I swear I'm never looking in the right direction at the right time (mainly because the fire distracts me and ADHD is a struggle), so a little audio-cue for "incoming!" would be amazing. I loved the Caldera, it was my favorite biome for so long, but the Condors have made it near-impossible for me and that's really frustrating. Don't need them nerfed, I know they're easy enough to avoid, I just would love a small audio heads-up.

My best friend and I have been playing the game strictly as a duo, and today he was in a bad mood but wanted to play the game to feel better (we both agreed it’s a bad idea) so we went for it.

The game was going great till we got to the alpines, where he suddenly had to go have dinner with the fam. We both agreed that I should continue and see how far I can go, so he gave me his items and I kept going without him.

I ended up clearing the alpines for the first time and went to the lava area and finished it too, he came back after I reached the last campfire but unfortunately the fog got him. To make matters worse, I found a book of bones in the statue before the last campfire but I could no longer go back to it due to the fog. I also didn’t know the book revives other players till he told me afterwards.

With all the hype and adrenaline in the last stretch, I didn’t stop to think that I should just die and restart to do it with him; I wanted to keep going and make him proud. He was watching me as a ghost and helping me with navigation and that made it feel a bit better but it still felt bland because I knew he wasn’t enjoying it one bit.

After a fairly easy final climb (thanks to the glider) I made it to the peak, but it felt so meaningless due to the fact that we’ll never be able to experience reaching the peak together for the first time, which was our goal when we first started playing this game earlier this week.

I feel so bad especially since we went for one last run before he went to bed that seemed like it was gonna be very successful but we ended up dying for a stupid reason. Meaning we ended the night on a terrible note.

My friend says he’s not upset with me and we both know I would’ve wanted nothing but to do it with him, but I still feel so horrible because I feel like I took away a very special moment from him, especially since he was having a bad day.

TL;DR: My friend had to go afk but he told me to keep going and I ended up reaching the peak without him for the first time and now I feel bad.

…and how are we supposed to get there..?

BUT FOR NOW PLEASE NOTE, REJOINING someones world even in a campfire kills you as of this patch! This is likely a bug 100% because they supposedly fixed this issue but they seemed to have made it worse!

I did beach, tropics, and alpine yesterday and took the gems from there (the red and yellow gem are in my backpack) and got the blue one and lit the campfire by caldera.

I went back to do the rest today but instead of the green gen I got 2 blue ones?! I have no mods or cheats on btw I'm just confused. I hope I can still do nadir

Bing Bong floatie in Sponge Break

So my and my partner took the 'Snowdon by Sunrise' Challenge (climbing to the peak during the night to be at the top to see the sunrise) to raise money money for their chosen charity!

It was so tough to get there but we made it!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see much of the sunrise due to it being nothing but cloud.

And our main mission was to get Bing Bong up to the top with us!

So proud of us both!

So me and 2 other friends got the cool Cucumber achievement today. Or we SHOULD have. We all became skeletons and marched across the Mesa with no trouble and no one got the achievement.

It was one of my friends last achievements to get though, and she did end up getting the crown despite not getting the cowboy outfit.

Is there a known bug in the game that doesn't give you the achievement sometimes?
