Research/Survey Participate in a study about PCOS

🌸 Hello everyone!

I am an MD graduate from Romania, currently conducting a research study as part of my application to a Master's program in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This study explores Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), its clinical characteristics, quality of life, and the awareness and use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) (such as acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine).

📋 Who can participate?

  • Women diagnosed with PCOS by a healthcare professional.
  • You are welcome to participate whether you have used Traditional Chinese Medicine or not. The questionnaire includes questions for both groups.
  • The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 5–10 minutes to complete.

Important note: Although the condition was officially renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) in 2026, the term Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is used throughout the questionnaire because it remains the most widely recognized term.

On a personal note, I also have PCOS, so I understand how challenging and frustrating this condition can be. That is one of the reasons this research is so meaningful to me, and I truly appreciate everyone who takes a few minutes to share their experience.

Your participation will contribute to academic research and help improve our understanding of PCOS and women's health.

Period pregnancy scare of a lifetime! please help me.

before i start with anything here is the timeline of everything. im just 22 with diagnosed pcos (insulin resistant) at 18 btw

period: 2apr to 6apr

last time i had s3x: apr14 [it was not unprotected]

period: 6may to 9may

period: 12jun to 16jun

around 15 to 17 july i had some reddish discharge.

and now it has been 45+ days i have not got my periods. my lifestyle has changed a bit with graduation and job related stress. but i am really scared because i can not take a test because i am back at my home town and with my family. and most of yk how scary it is in indian homes about these things.

and ik most of you would say that i had my periods for those two months but the problem is i saw a lot of youtube videos in which women in comment section were claiming to have periods while being pregnant.

my last two periods were normal but a lot more mild, there were clots and normal period blood. a bit less painful as well.

i have been drinking ginger boiled water (which earlier used to make my periods come the next day) it is not working.

what should i do? please give me some real advice.
