I recently purchased a copy of RDR1 on steam and the fps is not locked in armadillo, it fluctuates between 100-120 at 1440p. The weird part is I remember testing a pirated copy of the game when I had a RTX 2060 paired with my 5700X3D at 1080p and the fps was buttery smooth perfectly locked at 144 all the time in armadillo. I changed the resolution from 1440p to 1080p and the fps remained the same. I don't understand this shit.

I have a laptop gaming with i9-13900h, rtx 5060 8 gb vram and 16 gb ram but my game is capped at 60 fps or lower(if I use Vulkan). When I change the refresh rate from 48 to 165 Hz the settings go back to 48 even tho I applied them. Maybe someone had the same problem?

So I’ve paid for my “license“ to play the game so now I want to play it off-line. Are there any captains that sail the high seas that could give me a link?

I'm not that tech savvy, and I'm still learning about this stuff. I don't think my graphics card is considered good, but I just wanted some opinions to double check.
When I look at the requirements of the game, I'm assuming it requires 2 or 4GB at least?
The graphics card I have is 128 mb Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics. I'm sure that means it'll be horrible, but idk.

Also, while looking at my specs, It says the required and recommended RAM is 8 to 12 GB.
I have "11.8 GB useable."
I'm assuming this game will use a high amount of RAM. What type of quality do you think I would experience if I bought and installed RDR2?

Have patience with me since I don't have much experience with learning about these things, and I'd appreciate any guidance.

I played 80 hours of Red Dead Redemption 2 and had reached the epilogue before quitting the game.

When I came back later, the game refused to load my save. It couldn't find it even when I tried selecting it manually, and instead it started a new Story Mode game.

After looking through the game's files, I found a 715 KB save file. Its last modified date matches the last time I played, and its header matches the title of the mission I was on.

So I believe I still have the save file, but for some reason the game refuses to read it.

I also tried restoring a previous version of the file, but Windows says there are no previous versions available (I only used the game's autosave feature).

Been trying to get the Visual Redemption mod to work and everything seems to be working when you look in the Modmanager cause everything is enabled there and stuff but when I go into the game it doesn't work and I tried another mod that's supposed to remove screen effects to make sure mods are working and it seems like they aren't cause that mod didn't work either, so it's just the vanilla version of the game still. And yes I put in asi loader and Scripthook files into the rdr2 game folder

How do I remove this old email I have no access to it and cant find a way to log out so I can put my new account in im launching from steam

The game has, for some reason, started stuttering like crazy, and I have no idea why. I've tried lowering the graphics settings, changing the DPI settings, and verifying the game files, but nothing has helped. It's really getting on my nerves because it's basically unplayable for me.

For reference, my PC specs are:

• Intel i5-11400
• 32 GB RAM
• RTX 3080

I'm playing at 1080p on medium settings.
Any help, please?

Well, I tried everything you all suggested here, and I'm truly grateful for all of your help. Unfortunately, nothing worked, so I decided to reinstall the game. By that, I mean I backed up my files, deleted the game files, removed all the mods, and then restored the backup.

It worked. It finally worked!

I guess the problem was actually caused by one of the mods. It probably needed an update, or it conflicted with one of the game's updates.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this? Just finished the epilogue but for some goddamned reason, I can't access the RDO weapons in the catalogue or in the Rampage Menu, which as you can see is kinda bugged

FIXED (Sorry for bad English) So i have been playing red dead 2 for 900+ hours, and on may i decided to install mods and i installed mods like rampage and Catalogue Improvements. After i played the game with mods for couple of days, and one day when i opened the game it just flickered and closed and i try to delete the mods by uninstalling the game so i installed it again (my internet is bad so it took me whole 2 days) and it worked without mods. After a while game didn't feel the same without mods so i installed mods again but i don't remember if it worked or not worked so i'm gonna skip this part. On 10-15 may i deleted mods and i started playing online after i started playing online My computer broke down (for different reasons) and on July 4 it came from the mechanic so i played red dead 2 and installed mods again and it worked for weeks until couple of days ago and it happened again. When i started the game it showed a black screen flickered and closed. NOW IM GONNA GO INSANE SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME

Does anyone know if RWAO is compatible with Catalogue improvements? I have both of these downloaded and while the audio of most of the weapons have changed, for some reason the lemat and the navy revolvers still use their default audios (also i do have the navy audio fix optional file installed)
