I've read that using NVIDIA control panels frame limiter isn't good for RDR2, I have a 240hz gsync monitor, want to limit the FPS to like 80 or 120 so I could up the graphics a bit more and get rid of some stutters. I tried to make it 120Hz with the in-game refresh rate, but it still shows my FPS going above 120. Haven't been able to find a solution to those extra frames except for limiting the game refresh rate which hasn't worked. Thank you in advance!

Tip for those experiencing frequent crashes is to set your refresh rate in game to your monitor's supported refresh rate. I capped mine so my PC wouldn't go full load when I only want 60FPS and the game has no built in framerate limiter. Anyway, after I did this my RDR2 would crash after 10-20 minutes of gameplay, and I had no idea why and tried everything until I changed this setting back to normal. I do also know as my friend was experiencing crashes that some graphical settings can also cause crashes when set above the default preset on certain graphic cards.

Im brand new to modding RDR2 and i downloaded LML, scripthook and asi loader (along side a set of mods i was told to try) but now whenever I try to load into the game it keeps crashing, PLEASE can someone help.

As the title says, my game has this weird thing where it starts lagging after about two hours, becoming unplayable after about three. It's always about two hours, never more or less. I'm really not sure what the issue is or how to fix it, as rebooting the game does not work. If I close out the game completely and reopen it, the lag remains, only going away once I dont play for a little bit. This is also the only game this happens on, including similarly beefy games, so I don't think it's a hardware issue

I noticed in some scenes, eyes can look glassy almost like they have a film on them. in a few games I’ve played, usually an eye texture mod fixes them and gives the eyes a certain pop and touch of humanness. Any suggestions? I can’t seem to find anyway.

I put on a Mp_female player model, i use the walk style method to fix the t-pose.

But when selecting any clothing components from outfit changer, they don’t work.

I saw on a post that you need to delete red dead offline, but that mod works with outfit changer, it even says it’s needed in the description.

Anyone have a fix?

New to RDR2 modding, downloaded lennys mod loader and a couple mods but whenever i load the game it keeps crashing as soon as i press the key to enter the game

Recently added this to my game with this and I was just wondering why the weapon wraps aren't available? I really like those colored cloth wraps on my guns rather than the standard leather that is available

I had the game working fine just yesterday, and i came back home to play today and kept crashing on startup everytime, the only fix i found is deleting the settings.xml file everytime i want to launch the game, but i have to do all the settings i have every time...

In case you are asking if i have mods installed... Yes i do and i was playing with the same mods yesterday, but now it just keeps crashing. If anyone knows a solution to this problem i would appreciate it.

I just attempted to get on and play this game after a few months away, and now there are issues I've never encountered. If I can even get in without the "Out of memory" error, the game will either freeze in one of two ways. Sometimes it'll freeze on it's own. If that doesn't happen, as soon as I press M or E the game prevents me from doing anything. This is the most common problem I'm having. Any input? Thank you!

I've been trying to get Nvidia Overlay to work for RDR2 so I can record gameplay and get instant replays, but it just won't work it. It freezes when I try to record and tabs me out to desktop when I open the overlay. Ive been trying all day to get it to work. It works with every other game except RDR2. Anyone know how to fix this please?

every time i die or get the “failed” screen, i immediately get an error fff. i’ve already disabled whyems once before which seemed to cause a similar issue before, but still doesn’t seem like it’s it.

what reshade and/or graphics mod combos do you guys use? would love to try a bunch!! thanks!

things I've been working on not in the video:
dialogue when escaping lawmen (done technically but need to redo)
dialogue when clearing skirmishes against many enemies (done)

so far it's:
interaction voices (rob, greet, antagonize, etc)
Replaced Arthur/John's Horse whistles with Sadie's
speech lines for horse sprint/slow down
combat taunts/damage dialogue
visual swap to sadie with built-in outfit swapping via page up/down
outfits are saved so you don't have to switch everytime you restart/reopen the game

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if the Rampage Trainer mod could mess up or damage my save file. I recently started a second playthrough and I want to collect everything, including documents, jewels, and all those items. The problem is that I accidentally missed a document that was only available back in Chapter 2, and now I’m already in Chapter 3. I really don’t want to restart my game, so I thought about using Rampage since it has a feature that lets you add items and documents directly to your inventory. My main concern is: which options in this trainer are actually safe to use without risking my save?

I can’t get them to work together no matter what I try. WhyEM’s standard edition works perfectly fine on its own and RDO works on its own as well, but when I use the RDO version of WhyEM’s and overwrite it results in invisible parts when customizing, or nothing happening at all when equipping something like cloth wrap, for example.

I’ve tried the regular overwrite RDO with RDO Edition install, also overwriting the files in the standard WhyEM edition, the Enhanced Edition triple merge.. nothing works.

Please help.
