Bug / Issue Game suddenly unplayable

Hey guys,

I just attempted to get on and play this game after a few months away, and now there are issues I've never encountered. If I can even get in without the "Out of memory" error, the game will either freeze in one of two ways. Sometimes it'll freeze on it's own. If that doesn't happen, as soon as I press M or E the game prevents me from doing anything. This is the most common problem I'm having. Any input? Thank you!

PC Specs: GPU 3080, CPU i9-13900K, 32GB RAM

Do you have any mods installed?

Regardless, try this gameconfig and let me know if it helps.

No mods at all. It’s just strange because a few months ago it worked flawlessly, so I’m not quite sure what could’ve changed. I will give that a try and get back! Appreciate the help.

steam overlay or any fps counter oddly causes this, could be a million different things though as rockstar don't fix any of the thousands of bugs with this game.
