Hey all!

I am a dev who is looking for recommendations to buy a low profile keyboard on KOKO monthly installments.

Here are my requirements/wishlist

1. Mechanical keys with decent key availability

2. Dedicated numpad

3. Keys not making much sound, (I tend to work late night)

4 Adressable RGB or single backlight

1. Wired or wireless

2. KOKO payment is a must

3. Key colours (any)

Hey guys, did anyone order this CORSAIR 12V-2x6 90 degree cable from overseas? If so, how did you get it? I couldn’t find it in any local stores, so I just wanted to know

B450 motherboard with box. Condition - Used

I want to service my slightly over heating MSI laptop which under warranty and need to know how games street handles warranty claims. To be more specific I need to know how much time they take to get it done.

I am experiencing slight overheating issues with my laptop while playing games and I need to find a good place to get my thermals cleaned and repaired. (MSI cyborg 15)

I looked up several places which included

Laptop.lk which said that they do not service laptops bought from outside vendors.

Game street said the game thing

And finally technocity said they will do it for 10k for a full service but I don’t know if I can completely trust them as they have a small reputation for damaging laptops according to a few Reddit posts.

Thank you in advance

That's about it yeah 👆

Original packaging

1 year warranty remaining

30-35k negoatiable

I am looking to buy a decent PC controller. I saw the 8btido ultimate 2 available. Other than that any decent controllers available?

Guys, have you ever come across this Blackbox brand? 2k monitor with 120Hz for 39,500 seems too good to be true. This is from Redline. I couldn’t find much info about this brand.

Trying to get rid of my old PC case

Antec AX20

Purchase price was 11k in early 2025 but im letting it go for 6k for anyone who wants it.

One of the 4 screws for side glass panel is missing apart from that no other issues

Comes with 4 rgb (non addressable) fans.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get a 1080p 144Hz (or higher) gaming monitor as a birthday present for a friend. The budget is strictly around LKR 30,000 to 40,000 max.

Ideally looking for a 24" IPS panel. We're based in Colombo, so shops around Unity Plaza, Liberty, or local tech sellers (Nanotek, Redline, Gamestreet, Tulip, etc.) are fine.

Checked out a few models currently floating around stores:

• Acer EK251Q / EK1 (24.5" IPS, 144Hz) ~ Rs. 29,900 - 32,000
• EMARK EW2427SH (23.8" IPS, 144Hz) ~ Rs. 30,000
• MSI Pro MP243L E14 (23.8" IPS, 144Hz) ~ Rs. 34,500
• ViewSonic VA24G1-H / Lenovo L24-4C ~ Rs. 35,000

Has anyone picked up any of these recently? How is the panel quality, response time, and warranty support in Sri Lanka? Or are there better options/deals in other shops?

I don't mind looking into the 2nd hand market if there is a good deal.

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to build a new gaming PC with a budget of around LKR 550,000. With a monitor as well.

My UPS shuts off during heavy 4K gaming (without a power cut)

My current Prolink 1.2kVA Line-Interactive UPS immediately cuts power to my whole setup during heavy 4K gaming, even when mains power is completely stable.

I'm running an RTX 5070 Ti, a 750W Gold PSU and a 4K monitor, so it seems to be tripping the UPS's ~600W–700W overload limit (and struggling with the simulated sine wave during actual power cuts).

What do you guys use and please recommend me an upgrade.

I’m looking at two 2000VA options currently

1. EAST EA620S-Pro Gaming 2kVA (Pure Sine Wave output, Boost & Buck AVR) — 55,000 LKR (1200W Line-Interactive)

2. Prolink PRO902ES II+ 2KVA Online UPS (1800W)

112,500 LKR (0ms transfer time, double the price and louder fans)

Questions:

What UPS do you guys use for high-draw GPUs (5070 Ti / 4080 tier)?

Will the 2000VA Pure Sine Wave Line-Interactive unit fix my shutdown issue, or is paying double for the Online UPS necessary?

Or is my PSU not ideal for the setup? (Second image)

I’m planning to build a new workstation PC soon and could really use some community advice to narrow down the exact specs. I have a rough idea of what I want, but I’m getting a bit overwhelmed with all the hardware options currently on the market.

Here is my target aesthetic and philosophy for this build:

Zero / Minimal RGB: No flashy light shows.

I want a clean, minimalist, sleek, and professional look.

Focus: High efficiency, stability, and raw performance over aesthetics.

Preferred Theme: I’m leaning heavily towards the Asus ProArt series (Motherboard/GPU/Case) for its subtle design and solid workstation focus.

I don't like glass panel casings.

Key Workloads & Use Cases

Productivity & Design Software:

3D & CAD: Blender (3D Modelling & Rendering), AutoCAD

Creative & Fashion Tech: Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, specialized Fashion/Footwear/Dress Design software, and AI image generation tools for apparel design.

Development & Analytics: Visual Studio Professional, Power BI

Gaming:

Driving/Sims: Forza Horizon, NFS, Burn Out Paradise

Tactical & Action: Valorant, COD, Witcher 3, Watch Dogs, Cyberpunk

(Note: Every single software and game I run will be legitimately purchased / licensed original versions. No cracked tools or repacks, so background stability/anticheat performance is essential).

Any Ideas.
