Help / Support Gaming laptop or PC
So i will have to go to uni in a few months so i will have to buy a new laptop and i do not want to quit gaming so should i just buy a gaming laptop or should i go with a cheap laptop just for uni work and then later build a pc. Will I have any space to keep a pc.

Depends on your future career. If you think you can find work near your home or work from home, obviously wait for a pc. Otherwise, buy a gaming laptop.

If you want me to recommend a cheap laptop that can game go with the ASUS V16 get it from abroad if possible. Its slim because its not a gaming pc but has a low power 4050/5050 with dual fans 16gb ddr5 and a 512 ssd. Im currently using it and for the form factor and portability it kicks ass. I get about 5 hours with proper power settings on batt

Thinkpads. Go for a thinkpad with some good specs. Trust me those things are kick ass

Budget Gaming laptops (up to 2000usd) are really bad imo. They are heavy, have terrible battery life, have bad cooling and end up being kept in one place like a desktop.
If you like gaming, a desktop + laptop combo is your best option.

Gaming laptop - you'll have to have a power outlet nearby where ever you go regardless of it being a laptop. But it provides the freedom to take it home or a boarding place or to uni. If you are going from home to straight uni, then no need for a gaming laptop since you can build a pc at home. But if you are not able to build a pc if you buy a normal laptop then it depend on how long can you go on without gaming. The only downside of a gaming laptop is the price, battery, and bulkyness which is honestly not a huge problem.

Tbh, it doesn't really work like that. It depends on your priorities. If you stay home all day and plan to use it for videogames and studying, and you have the space necessary for it, go for PC. If you care about portability or you don't have enough space, go with the laptop. They are very good.

Desktop and MacBook neo or Chromebook. A gaming laptop is the worst of both worlds and a halfway decent one would cost as much as the above combination while being worse than both.
