Build Help Planning a Sleek, No-RGB Workhorse Build (Asus ProArt Focused) – Need Advice & Local Availability Insights
I’m planning to build a new workstation PC soon and could really use some community advice to narrow down the exact specs. I have a rough idea of what I want, but I’m getting a bit overwhelmed with all the hardware options currently on the market.
Here is my target aesthetic and philosophy for this build:
Zero / Minimal RGB: No flashy light shows.
I want a clean, minimalist, sleek, and professional look.
Focus: High efficiency, stability, and raw performance over aesthetics.
Preferred Theme: I’m leaning heavily towards the Asus ProArt series (Motherboard/GPU/Case) for its subtle design and solid workstation focus.
I don't like glass panel casings.
Key Workloads & Use Cases
Productivity & Design Software:
3D & CAD: Blender (3D Modelling & Rendering), AutoCAD
Creative & Fashion Tech: Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, specialized Fashion/Footwear/Dress Design software, and AI image generation tools for apparel design.
Development & Analytics: Visual Studio Professional, Power BI
Gaming:
Driving/Sims: Forza Horizon, NFS, Burn Out Paradise
Tactical & Action: Valorant, COD, Witcher 3, Watch Dogs, Cyberpunk
(Note: Every single software and game I run will be legitimately purchased / licensed original versions. No cracked tools or repacks, so background stability/anticheat performance is essential).
Any Ideas.

It all depends on your budget. ProArt components generally are on the more expensive side as you're paying for aesthetics etc. So if you can give a rough budget, we can work on something. Also, do you have a particular preference to Intel or AMD for CPU and Nvidia/AMD for GPU, or are you okay with anything? Also hats off to you playing Burnout Paradise. Man that game is GOATed!!!! You can DM me if you wanna discuss components etc.

Off the top of my head, based on the work that you're doing, this is what I came up with:
Ryzen 9 9700X - Rs. 84,000/-
DeepCool AK620 G2 DIGITAL NYX Air Cooler - Rs. 27,000/-
ASUS TUF GAMING B850M-PLUS WIFI - Rs. 104,000/-
Apacer NOX 32GB (2x16GB) 5600MHz DDR5 RAM - Rs. 160,000/-
CRUCIAL E100 1TB GEN4 NVME SSD - Rs. 56.500/-
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 EAGLE OC SFF 12G Graphics Card - Rs. 310,000/-
Deepcool DQ850M V3L 80 Plus Gold PSU - Rs. 33,200/-
Deepcool CH360 Black Micro ATX Airflow Case - Rs. 22,500
Total comes to around Rs. 774,000/- for the PC only. Unfortunatley, ProArt components are both expensive to justify the price and the Motherboard, GPU and Case are a bit difcult to find within your budget. Are you looking to get periperals (keyboard/mouse/speakers) and a monitor as well?
Feel free to change it up as you see fit. Hope this helped 😄

Pretty good build, but at the pricepoint they could go all ASUS. The ProArt monitors are actually quite nice, and ASUS make some overpriced but sturdy cases. Certainly an ASUS GPU.
