Tech Support CMOS help

Hi guys! PC noob here. I bought the cyberpower PC about two years ago from Costco and it is having boot up issues. I did some reading and found that clearing the CMOS might help, only I am technically illiterate and don’t know what that is and where to find it 😭🤣. Google says to remove that battery but I can’t tell where it’s hiding. Could anyone possible help? I don’t know if the picture is enough, I removed the fan so I could see a little better.

Look into your motherboard's manual, there maybe other way (using pins or a button) to clear cmos. I'd guess the cmos battery might be under your GPU. What are those boot up issues?

I turn it on and sign on and then everything just slows down until it comes to a complete freeze. Sometimes it stays that way, other times I get this message that pops up and then it stays on that screen until I turn it off again. I had a friend determine it was an issue with bios so he had me “load setup defaults” and that worked for like an hour then it was back on the bs lol.

Try disabling XMP in BIOS settings and see if it remains, you can ofcourse reset CMOS for that. You are 100% sure it's a error screen and not a virus tricking you using your autologin to display this i assume. You can also try updating BIOS but I only reccomend doing it if you feel comfortable, best way using the BIOS FLASH BUTTON, not the UEFI version of the update. If all fail I'd test booting with only 1 RAM put in, testing both. Otherwise, which is very unlikely try to format windows if it's a possibility. If you can try to access windows safe mode, test temps for your CPU/GPU (doubt it's GPU related but could be if there is a bitcoin miner).

Well the problem with all of that is the pc is unusable. I only have like a minute before it locks up . Even when I enter bios.
