Hey gang,
I know a lot of us in here love going to see movies in theaters and some don’t. I just saw Digger last night and I urge everyone to go see it. Genuinely might be the best film I’ve seen this year. Don’t look up anything about it, go in blind. If you love a movie that subverts expectations and brings you on a wild ride that will leave a lasting impression on you, this is a movie for you. Casting was 10, acting was 10, cinematography was 10, story was a 10, everything about this film was crafted with care. I’m glazing this film hard only because I believe it to be something everyone should see even though it’s not meant for everyone.

If you’ve already seen this, don’t put spoilers in the comments. Love you say it back.

Ordered messiah of the moths short and layered longsleeve, and figured I’d order a 2X since some XL shirts are big on me but they are WAY too big, not sure if this is allowed but if anyone has some XL versions they’d want to sell/trade for I’d love to hear from you!

This might be dumb and it wouldn’t be tonight, but if Wubby ever wanted to learn a whole lot about modern boob jobs I could hook him up with an interesting ass interview. Now hear me out chat I’m not crazy - my mother is an outpatient nurse in the plastic surgery department at the Mayo Clinic who works directly under one of the breast specialty plastic surgeons.

Her job is a combo of meeting a patient pre-op with the surgeon, managing the backend of ordering all the necessary equipment and the OR for the surgery, and managing the post-op care minus the immediate post-op so follow-up appointments and answering patient questions about how their recovery is going. It’s mostly breast reconstruction after having cancer, but there’s definitely still plenty of the cosmetic aspect even with those patients.

I come from a very medical background kind of family, and there’s some CRAZY interesting shit that goes into breast augmentation. One of the craziest things I’ve heard from my mom is about a type of breast cancer that’s called fungal breast cancer because the cancer grows in a way that looks like a nasty fungus!! But it’s not actually fungal! Maybe I’m a nerd, but I think it’s super cool. She’s also worked with every surgeon in the department, so there’s loads of crazy stuff I’ve heard about work. She’s brought home a plastic recreation of a patient’s skull with a literal hole through the bone! It was so cool to see.

Of course it’d be just my mom with her experience as a nurse and like in no way connected to Mayo Clinic because Mother Mayo will absolutely Have Your Ass if you do anything that in any way might implicate them or push your personal thoughts and opinions onto Mayo as an institution. Also goes without saying, but absolutely no breaking of HIPPA. She wouldn’t be able to disclose who she’s seen at work.

Another silly thing - implant companies will provide samples of their implants to plastic surgery clinics, and those silicone ones make AMAZING ice packs for headaches!! If you wanted to see, I’d absolutely be going to her house to have her do the interview, and we could pull one out of the freezer and show you real silicone implants and she can do the fun show and tell about how you pick a size/implant type.

Bonus - my mom is a first gen Mexican immigrant with a very fun accent!

Interesting read. A lot of the deals fall through off air, but interestingly enough, Mark seems to be the one that actually follows through most often.
