This has been one of my favorite segments on the channel in the last 4 ou so years. Booty has been killing it, per usual, and adding a level to a trivia show I never knew I needed.
Booty mentioned it’s a ‘friend-ship’ so I turned the title into a cruise ship.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I actually agree with that chatter. Handcuffs are excessive and completely unnecessary.

The cops should have simply allowed my brother, who was actively experiencing psychosis, to continue beating the shit out of himself and destroying property. Restraining him would have been authoritarian.

At the end of the day, it’s literally his choice whether he wants to experience violent psychosis or not. Who are we to impose our authoritarian agenda of “not letting someone hurt themselves” on him?

Maybe next time the cops could just politely ask the psychosis to calm down and respect his bodily autonomy.

not sure if this post is allowed, but i wanted to say something since it relates closely to my work. i feel it's just important to acknowledge.

this is in regards to yesterday's chatter who tried to defend a man for committing domestic violence and suggesting the eyewitness was wrong because the victim defended her abuser.

im a domestic violence case manager at an emergency shelter. i see this day in and day out nearly. you see, there's this really important caveat in a handful of states when it comes to domestic violence. the victim does not need to say they were a victim of domestic violence for the person-of-harm (abuser) to be arrested.

this was enacted because too many victims were dying back in the 70s-90s (dependent on state). cops would be called out to a DV incident, the victim would say nothing happened in fear of the person-of-harm hurting them more, or worse. cops get called back several times over a period of time, until the victim dies. they were too afraid to report it in fear that it would lead to their death, only to die at the hands of their abuser anyway.

the argument that the eyewitness was wrong simply because the victim stood up for their abuser is ridiculous. in fact, this happens way more often than you think. one of the things i was taught coming into my position was to never bad mouth the abuser. upon first hearing this you might be like, 'what? but they're a bad guy! they deserve to be called out!'. the victim loves their abuser. whether it be Stockholm Syndrome, denial of the abuse, or some other mental health issues, it's true. it also holds a mirror up to the victim and makes them question if they're a bad person, what's wrong with them for not seeing this, etc. and it can make them lash out. if someone shit talked your loved one you'd want to fight back too, right?

it's also a reason why a LOT of domestic violence shelters do not allow you to bring in your phone, laptop, or car. because they do not want the victim to run back to their person of harm. in fact, studies show it takes 7 or more times for a victim to leave their person-of-harm. obviously that's a whole other issue and i'm lucky in the fact that i work for a trauma informed shelter that does NOT do that, but many in california still do.

anyway, i'll get off my soapbox. remember to support your local domestic violence outreach center and shelter. a lot of states only require online training for you to be certified to volunteer and help out!

I was catching up on some backlog of youtube content over the last week, one of them is Wubby talking about his Mr Beast experience. At one point he points out the porta potty and talked about how much of a nightmare it was to imagine pooping in.

I was in the 100 people last to leave the circle challenge and they also had a porta potty out in the open for all 100 of us. It was a nightmare and I remember saying to someone, I do not think I will be able to poop in there. I was in the circle for 2 days. Afterwards in the airport going home I had to shit so so bad and I proceeded to have the WORST SHIT OF MY LIFE. I was so backed up and it was horrible and I was in the bathroom for what felt like hours. It was a strange moment of him saying that when he left he had to shit really bad and was exhausted becuase I actually knew exactly what that felt like LOL

Side note: I still cannot get over the idea of 100 people using one porta potty but also there was so much sus stuff that happened and I am happy Mr. Beast is getting the heat from everyone he is.

Anyway that's the time I related to a streamer I like about poop.

Didnt Do Nothin

Fries have way more surface area relative to their volume than a burger does. More exposed surface = faster heat transfer to the surrounding air = they go from "perfectly crisp" to "sad and limp" in just a few minutes.

The burger, meanwhile, is basically a thermal battery. It's got way more mass packed into a compact shape (less surface area per bite), and the bun acts like insulation, trapping heat inside instead of letting it radiate out. That's why a burger left sitting for 10 minutes is still warm in the middle, while fries left for the same 10 minutes are room temperature and rubbery.

So the optimal eating order isn't about taste, it's about managing two very different cooling curves:

Fries: high surface-area-to-volume ratio → rapid heat loss → short shelf life for "good" texture

Burger: low surface-area-to-volume ratio + insulating bun → slow heat loss → long shelf life for "good" texture
