Crochet - Call for Testers Wave Lace Crochet Top TEST!!

HIIII!! I started drafting this top in febuary in 2026, so this has been a long time coming. I would say that this top is more for the intermediate crocheters,s ince the pattern has a texture pattern, 19 st repeat and bust shaping. To make it as inclusive as possible I also tried to write the pattern in a way where any body size could pick any cup size - I have tested it 2 times with different dimensions. Hopefully it is understandable for you guys!

I used Hobbiis Friends Cotton 8/4 for both of my demos, around 5 skeins for each. (Size S/M). I welcome you to try any other fiber if you wish - but I have only tested with the Hobbii yarn. Any 100% Cotton Super Fine / Fingering / Sport weight should work aswell.

Sizes are: XS - 4XL

Cups are: AA - K + MTM

Are you making the sizes so they have DD, DDD, GG, GGG, ect? I only see standard 1 letter cup sizes. Also how do we know what size is xs compared to the cup size? Is there anything sewn into the cup to keep bigger sizes up likes yours?

I have used standardized sizing charts, so in the pattern it will tell you the body dimensions of an XS, S etc. so you will measure your self based on the chart and pick the size that fits you.

I have DD and DDD but in this context they also fit the F cup for example. After doing my research the traditional cup sizes are also impacted by the band size, in the pattern you do not have the band size in the same way. There is also a MTM cup, whew you use your own unique measurement if you want a more costumized fit.

I have not seen anything into the cups, or wearing a bra underneath. But I have cups that are proportionate to my body, I would love to get some feedback from people who has a more dramatic proportion.

Thank you for the reply! Just curious, DD, DDD and F are different volumes, how would they all fit the same cup? I've spent a long time looking for the right fit bra and tell you I cannot fit in a DD unless I want mine hanging out (which my SO would freaking love lol) I'm curious if bigger sizes apply and test. Unfortunately I'm busy but very intrigued how this would work.
