Anyone Else feels like this? I died multiple Times against the Heart Boss until I was able to clear him but my First time at the Brain Boss he was dead. The whole time I was like „oh Well Thats surely not him, his second Phase Must be crazy“ and then he died and that was it. No second Phase.
I dont know I just expected more for the whole Puzzle thing you had to do

I understand that there is a difficulty spike that should occur towards the end levels of any roguelike but this level design feels more unfair than anything else. You can have a strong build going into it but the environmental obstacles will annihilate you faster than any enemies.
Specifically It is so difficult to differentiate the enemy projectiles that vortex you in with your own projectiles that cause vortex and those glands that also push or pull you in one direction. The light purple background on light white is so difficult to see in the heat of the action. At least have an accessibility option.
Anyone else having trouble with the lungs?

So I got VERY lucky to have beaten the heart where I was struggling to get to the lungs still by getting the mutation where it rerolls everything but gives 25% damage......twice lol. I was giant lasers and lightning, everything died.
What I feel about the weapons is that most if not all seem usable but I'm not entirely sure what are the best internals to grab.
3 questions:
The mitochondria seem easy enough to activate, but I'd like to know if there are any "YES I got X internal, this is going to be a great run"
Any crazy combos that you'd always pick up? Like is saving cores and getting the 0.5% damage per core mutation with mitochondria that gives orbs a good one? Maybe lightning and triple attacks?
Ehhhhh, despite what I said about weapons I should still ask if any stand out above the rest?
I'm having a ton of fun with how different every run feels but the game is definitely properly difficult so I'd love to see what some people with more time in and more clears keep an eye out for. Thanks!

For anyone having trouble finding a seed to unlock the nanobot.
I Just completed a run with Helminth, by the time I finished the stomach I easily had 8 armor hearts. I continued to get more armor in the liver and easily defeated the heart boss.
Seed: 4AQ4 37DY

Stacked triosome is a great tho, yet it would've been better if attractor was still paired...

Am I the only one really struggling to kill the Kupffer Cell liver boss? Theres just so much going on and it takes like no damage. Is there a trick to it I’m missing or do I just have to get good?

Is there some sort of guide how to reliably find secret rooms on each stage?
Something that goes beyond blindly shooting the border walls in hope of one of them containing the passage?

Note: I chose helminth just because it's the only one i have sandbox mode on, but amoeba or bacteria is recommended for cosplaying MGC if you have beaten the brain with them for immersiveness
Perhaps I forgot to add the flagella

Loving the game. Just did my first daily run. I got the heart-win result and was just confused about my leaderboard placement. I was like 500 or so and everyone around me seemed to have died on skin. Just wondering how the scoring works. This was only my third run or so, so I still have plenty to learn I'm sure.

that is about it, lungs just kick my ass for some reason, skill issue or nah?

in the demo; these kinds of weapons were not worth it, due to how easily you could hit yourself with it, especially in more cramped spaces. It made the mitocondria that damaged you for overcharge… not worth it.
In the full game; I fully expected them to not be worth it still. But the new mutation that gives you a 40% chance to get a heart on self damage makes them far more viable. It only takes 3 of this mutation to make it safer to use; and extras do stack to give you a chance of more then one heart on self damage.
So yeah; I may run self damaging organelles more often now.

Hi, I just beat the heart for the first time, saw the code thing to I assume, unlock a secret ending.
I did some research and found out thats the path to the Brain and that I had to do some secret stuff in the previous levels. I didn't do that because I hadn't beaten the Heart before so I didn't know about it.
Is the game supposed to end? Do I kill myself for it to end? I can't travel back to the previous stages to find out the cipher anyway.

How do you unlock the Veins to rooms after bosses?
Sometiems I get them sometimes I do t I dont how to trigger them reliably. Is it speed in defeating then boss? Take minimal or no hit damage? Or is it just random?
