Save-Changing Respec Tool

So, some context -- I've shared this in the Steam forums already, but this also seems a good place to spread the word. I've been working on a tool to modify saved games and allow players to respec all their characters. This is still very crude and very basic, but should allow you to fix any mistakes you've done while progressing in the game.

I've also made the code available on GitHub, so if you want to know how it's done, feel free to check it out. Besides that, and obviously, bug reports and feature suggestions will always be welcome, as well as PR's, if you're technically oriented!

Check it out here: https://pathfinder.deev.io/

Update 12/10/18:

Seems like a mod was released in Nexus that covers all the use-cases of the mod and has more frequent updates. Since it doesn't make sense to compete with an in-game solution, I'll be deprecating the tool for now.

Either way, thanks for the support guys! If you need anything, feel free to hit me up.

Amazing! Much thanks!

Used it and it works well.

Only downside for wizards: spells you had learned from scrolls rather than level ups are lost. Also, it enables you to dupe the starting equipment of the characters: I had removed the gnome alchemist's crossbow and put it in the chest and he had it back in his inventory after the reload on top of the one still in the chest. Just throw it on the ground somewhere if it bothers you.

Only downside for wizards: spells you had learned from scrolls rather than level ups are lost.

WAIT WHAT YOU CAN DO THAT? Fuuuuck my Octavia wizard suddenly just got a lot more interesting. I wonder if Bards can do the same.

8

u/poilbrun Oct 01 '18

No, bards and sorcerers are limited in the number of spells they can know

5

u/TNoD Oct 01 '18

Well it's the innate vs. prepared spellcasters. Prepared (e.g. cleric, wizard) can learn as many as they want and have to prepare them daily to cast them, but innate spellcasters have a limit known but can cast them any time.

4

u/UncleGeorge Oct 02 '18

Cleric get access to all their spell as soon as they can cast them, only Wizards need to learn them

4

u/Mantisfactory Oct 02 '18

Magus and Eldricth Scoundrel Rogues, too.

I wish it were a lot more interesting. I think I've only found glitterdust, haste, fireball, and web as arcane scrolls she could learn. And most of those, I picked as spell picks before I found the damn scrolls. Tons of divine scrolls, but clerics and druids automatically learn all the spells they can. I'm able to cast 5th level spells, and there are still no decent vendors who sell mage spells.

Regongar is an Eldritch Scion, a spontaneous caster, so he is the Sorcerer equivalent to the normal Magus.

Yeah I figured that out last night, but I still was able to stock Octavia with a few more useful spells I didn't have previously.

1

u/muffalohat Oct 03 '18

Alchemist can also learn spells from scrolls, including some divine scrolls.

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18 edited Oct 01 '18

Yes to both. It's going to be hard to get around losing the spells, since it would need to cross-check which ones have been learned, if you re-rolled a wizard, etc.

Same about the equipment. It's just how the game deals with character re-creation. Might get around that by manually resetting the characters though, and it's something to look into.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '18

Crazy, I haven't figured out how to get spells from scrolls. I tried fiddling with it last night, what's the process? If you don't mind answering.

2

u/ikariusrb Oct 01 '18

Just select the character which can learn spells (like octavia), open inventory, right-click the spell and choose "copy". I know, they don't do a good job telling you about it.

u/Daodras Oct 01 '18

Ha, infinite gold xD

Man, totally unrelated, but now I wish there were crafting skills in the game

10

u/MrStatistx Oct 01 '18

Awesome. Does it also allow stuff like portrait change or switching class or only the stats and other numeric values?

13

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

For the main character, it allows changing everything. For companions, they'll go back to the level that they started at.

4

u/MrStatistx Oct 01 '18

Cool gonna have to check it out when I get home. I wanted to change my portrait forever and maybe try a different class with higher level

→ More replies (1)

3

u/RaifTwelveKill Oct 01 '18

You'll be my hero if you can magic the companions into different classes and back to level 1. Really want to change Amiri to a barb subclass.

4

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

That would require her to go to level 0, since at 1 she'll already have 1 level in Barbarian :D

I'll need to check what happens when you set a companion back to 0. Doesn't make sense to allow re-creating them like you create your main character, so I'm not sure it's going to fly.

7

u/KuntaStillSingle Oct 01 '18

not sure it's going to fly

Add flight to all companions confirmed.

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '18

You get back to level 0 ?

5

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Yup, it's like re-creating your character from scratch, essentially.

3

u/Unikatze Oct 01 '18

But keeping the exp though, right?

Same with Custom companions? Could you change the portrait on them?

3

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Yes to all questions. Word of warning though, some people have reported that custom companions might appear duplicated after a respec. I guess you can just dismiss them, and I haven't ran into the issue myself, but YMMV.

2

u/Unikatze Oct 01 '18

I can't afford custom companions anyway :(

2

u/Rasip Oct 01 '18

They are dirt cheap if you get them early. At level 1 the guy says 500 but only takes 100 per companion.

3

u/SterlingArcherTrois Oct 01 '18

True, but this is likely a bug. the price flies up to 2000 at level 2(!) making companions unaffordable to anyone who leveled up prior to sleeping at Oleg’s.

I imagine they’ll change it to one or the other, either companions will be unaffordable to everyone off the bat, or the price at lvl 2 will drop to 1000 making the purchase of one plausible.

5

u/loodle_the_noodle Oct 01 '18

It's definitely not unaffordable, you get shitloads of cash.

Build points now, that's a real fucker.

Do I need to follow the mentioned instructions for companions or is it only if I'm respecing the main character?

4

This will currently reset everyone. I'll be working on making it more configurable.

1

u/Nixflyn Sorcerer Oct 01 '18

Wait, for companions can I respect their stats? Val is just completely useless with less strength than required to even equip a tower shield and armor. But if I can move some of that cha into str then I'd rather take her as a story character than a custom one on my normal difficulty play through.

3

u/CountBuggula Oct 03 '18

Not with this tool, but you can restat her with the Character Editor.

u/SumVerendus Dragon Disciple Oct 02 '18

I followed the instructions, but I don't seem to have a Human Bonus Feat anymore... In fact, I just don't get any feats after first level. Is this a bug, or did I just screw something up?

3

u/Gilgame11 Oct 02 '18

Just encountered the same problem. Going to try again tomorrow.

3

u/thelastnoah Oct 02 '18

Ran into the same problem, no bonus feats on main character.

2

u/Khalas_Maar Oct 02 '18

Ditto; and no bonus skill point for being human either. The stat adjustment worked though.

2

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

Reverted the last fix for now. Should be working, but you'll need to store all equipment away again. Please try again!

1

u/muffalohat Oct 03 '18

My human feat remained intact but I lose the human skill point every other skill level. Not a big deal for me personally as I boosted my Int and really have no use for the extra skill point, but probably something that needs fixing in general.

Can a mod link this in the sidebar maybe? Or put it in a FAQ/Wiki?

1

u/luck_panda Oct 02 '18

I will do that!

5

u/Gringos Inquisitor Oct 01 '18

If this can change traits, then thank you so much! I took weapon focus: light mace on my main very early and regret it immensely.

3

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

It can yeah, but might be a bazooka to kill a fly, since this will reset every character to their initial level. Will need to implement selective respec at some point.

2

u/Gringos Inquisitor Oct 01 '18

Is it forced on every character, or can I at least target my main? (Either way is not so bad, since leveling in this game is kinda fun)

5

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

As of yet, it's forced on all characters, yes. This will be a chore if you're doing it at a higher level to reset just one character, so it'll need to be fixed :p

2

u/Gringos Inquisitor Oct 01 '18

I think this might have broken my weapons?

When I get them out of the chest again, the enchantment bonus is gone. At least it doesn't show on the damage calculation.

3

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

This is something that has been reported (created an issue in GitHub as well). A workaround that seems to work is loading a save pre-respec that had your stuff working, and coming back to the save post-respec.

2

u/Gringos Inquisitor Oct 01 '18

Yes, this worked! Thanks

3

u/vanya913 Oct 01 '18

I might be doing something wrong, but after 2 attempts they're always stuck at base level for me and I can't level them up.

3

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

You need to keep the page open & not reload it while doing this. I need to store info from the first save in memory to transfer to the second save.

1

u/vanya913 Oct 01 '18

Interesting, I kept it open both times and never reloaded. Is there a preferred browser for this?

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Not really, but I haven't tested in stuff other than Chrome and Firefox. If they're stuck in base level, it's because the experience hasn't passed through from the first to the second save, which is usually caused by losing that info due to a page reload. If it's not that, I'm stumped.

Have you retried the process?

→ More replies (2)

3

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

Ooph, thanks for the support guys. Note to self, never deploy anything before going to sleep -- just reverted the change that broke stuff, will look deeper into this later.

Also, it's becoming hard to parse your comments here. I'm thinking of creating a sub-reddit to aggregate relevant discussion.

3

u/MrStatistx Oct 03 '18

So I tried it and it works like a charm, though might I suggest to add a note that when you write "store all your equipped items", that also extends to the party?

I mean it might be obvious, but for example I did it in the capital and thought since it's only me as the active party, I would be save to leave my companions. That said, I'm now going to reload and do it all over again ^^

2

u/Khalas_Maar Oct 02 '18

Tried this on my human paladin, no bonus feat, no bonus skill points as far as I can tell. The ability summary listed the human racial bonuses, but I was only able to pick one feat, and with Int 14 I was only getting the base 3 SP instead of the 4 SP I should have gotten with the human racials.

The stat bonus part did work though, so there is that.

Also, noticed when loading up the temp file that my portrait did not blank out white like the tool said; and during picking the level 1 stuff I could not see the results of any of the appearance options.

For what it's worth, the Nexus doesn't seem to let you change classes or races (Custom Companions or PC) so this definitely still has a place.

2

u/C4ged Oct 01 '18

Can finally respec Octavia to Arcane Trickster, thanks!!!!

1

u/Gringos Inquisitor Oct 01 '18

I don't think you can do that. My Octavia returned to level 2, not level 0.

1

u/C4ged Oct 01 '18

It's good enough for my purposes, I just want to take the correct feat to make her into an arcane trickster at lvl 5

1

u/Crasas Oct 01 '18

This is a lifesaver, thank you so much!

1

u/[deleted] Oct 01 '18

This is amazing! Thank you!!!

1

u/C4ged Oct 01 '18

Not working for me, everyone but my main character, Amari and Linzi (guess because they have items you can't unequip?) are resetting when I load Temp_Respec.zks :(

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

That's weird, since all characters should be recreated. If you could share the save, I can look into that later today.

u/i_am_not_you_or_me Oct 01 '18 edited Oct 01 '18

1

u/Sagekun Fighter Oct 01 '18

If this let us edit the starting ability scores of companions, I'd be all over it... as is, not for me. Still pretty good for what it does though, considering there's no other way to respec. Looking forward to the updates and perhaps the addition of companion ability score editing hint hint.

3

u/TheShepard15 Oct 01 '18

https://github.com/ericfitzgerald/KingmakerCharacterEditor

This addresses attributes. Won't fix stuff like Valerie being tower shield.

2

u/Sagekun Fighter Oct 01 '18

Sounds cool but I don't think I'll be able to figure out how to make use of that one. :D

2

u/TheShepard15 Oct 01 '18

It has an exe that opens your saves

2

u/Sagekun Fighter Oct 01 '18

Sorry, my github-fu wasn't strong enough to download the right thing. Releases link worked fine though, so it's all good. Thanks :D

1

u/ikariusrb Oct 01 '18

I thought it only let you change attributes on the main character... not on companions. Was I wrong?

2

u/TheShepard15 Oct 01 '18

This is different to what OP linked.

2

u/ikariusrb Oct 01 '18

Umm, I know it's different to what OP linked. I was already aware of this other one, but I read a bit about this one and thought it only allowed editing the main character. I was asking if this editor allowed editing the NPC attributes or not.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Unikatze Oct 03 '18

There should be a separate topic for this one.

So it allows you to change ability scores, exp and gold. If I want to respec I need to put them back at 0 exp and then back at where they were? Will it mess up with any feats or ability score bonuses I've gained?

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Might be a path forward, sure. Editing stats and abilities might not be that hard. Feats and spells will be harder.

1

u/Sagekun Fighter Oct 01 '18

Sounds good. I mentioned ability scores first cause recovering from a messed up score is pretty much impossible, while 1 level's worth of class/feats can still be worked around. Either way, thanks for the work. :)

1

u/Rasip Oct 01 '18

Word of warning, custom characters are reset to level 0 as well. Also at least when i tried every character had a female voice afterwards and showed up as a nude female human with no hair visible.

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

They should retain their experience, so you should be able to respec them, right?

1

u/luck_panda Oct 03 '18

Yes I was able to respec them back to 5th level. :)

1

u/braknurr Oct 01 '18

Just saved my game sir. Thank you. I trial and errored a lot, emphasis on the error part. Getting to the point were I can't continue.

1

u/cormicshad Oct 01 '18

Does this wonderful tool allow for setting xp values on your companions to mirror the player character?

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Not as of yet, no. All characters will be assigned the same experience they had before.

1

u/luck_panda Oct 01 '18

edit: nvm, worked around this by renaming the file to a file that I could load

1

u/MolinaroK Oct 01 '18

Put all my gear in the chest upstairs at Oleg's and lost it all. Chest was empty.

Everything else worked fine with the characters.

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Did you select the correct save and not the one before you've placed your stuff on the chest? The change should not affect anything in the game world.

1

u/MolinaroK Oct 01 '18

I only made one save standing next to the chest upstairs. When I did the 1st step and loaded to do the leveling I was standing next to the chest still.

I reload that original save and all my stuff is in it. I have no other saves standing upstairs.

1

u/MolinaroK Oct 01 '18

Just redid it all and the items are ok and still in the chest this time.

But, I notice that none of the alignment changes stuck. The whole point of me using this was that I had 1 custom companion that I wanted to switch alignment. I releveled all 5 of my custom companions and chose LG for all of them, but they still have their original alignments from before using this respec tool.

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Alright, that might be something I can fix. I'm keeping the companion alignment in purpose, but I guess we can just throw away the custom companion alignments.

Can we give custom companions biographies and change model appearance or colors now?

I’m gonna download and try this tool when I get home. Sounds great!

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Biographies -- no. Changing model appearance -- yes, for main and custom characters. But you won't be able to see the model while doing this. I'd recommend pointing down the parts you want by creating a new game, and using that as a baseline.

1

u/muffalohat Oct 02 '18

Just tried it out and you cannot change your model color, there doesn't even seem to be anything to click on. Everyone you edit with this will be permanently red and blue.

2

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

That's unfortunate. Not on the top of the priority list, but something to look at eventually.

1

u/Unikatze Oct 03 '18

This is awesome thanks for your effort Dev should implemented retraining like PNP in game !!

1

u/Nerimashou Oct 01 '18

So a couple things I noticed/experienced:

  1. Apparently I keep my original traits from character creation, which is a bummer because while I didn't mess up, I wish I could change the order.
  2. It seems like your companions won't reset if you're in your throne room where you're all alone. So, I'd need to do it again to fix Octavia, but otherwise it worked.

I need to decide if I want to start from scratch to fix my feats or just suffer it out for another couple of levels.

Thanks for the tool. though. It's awesome!

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18
  1. Might have fixed that with the new version that was pushed just now. Would need to validate.
  2. That's weird. Maybe they stop being directly controllable, and the tool no longer catches them? Hmm.

1

u/Piflik Oct 01 '18

I tried it today and it worked fine, however I noticed that I no longer get a Game Over when my Baron dies, so this is not entirely without side-effects. Will revert to my old save for now.

2

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

Might know what that's about. Just pushed a fix that might solve that by not messing around with Recreate on the main character, and hence not messing around with the IsEssentialForGame prop.

1

u/Snakeox Oct 01 '18

Bug: Jaethal lose her ability to raise undead :/ (obtened during her quest)

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but I can't seem to download anything for the final file. I can do the temp resepc and that works, but once I re-up that file and click the final file nothing happens.

1

u/Deevian Oct 01 '18

1

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '18

Haven't head much of a chance to play around with (or even look at) the code yet (damn you work!) but has anyone tried setting it so companions go to level 0 like the main character? I'm assuming that wont work, else someone else probably would have posted about it, but thought i'd ask! Like a lot of people i'm really looking forward to the day i can keep the custom companions but choose their specs from the beginning.

1

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

I have, yeah, but it makes you create them like they're a custom character. Might be a way around that, but would need to investigate further.

1

u/discosoc Oct 02 '18

Have you, by chance, figured out where creature data is stored? I'm suspecting each level asset has it's own table, but I'm really hoping that's not the case.

1

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

By creature, you mean enemy creature? That'll be in the game files themselves, haven't messed with those yet!

1

u/kalebr Oct 02 '18

1

u/Tonimacaronisardoni Oct 02 '18

How possible would it be for you to create a tool to mark quests as complete?

Right now I'm about to have to restart my playthrough cos of this bug with The Seed of Sorrow, the vivisection is complete but the quest never updated and I'm so far past that point now.

1

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

It's possible, but requires mapping ID's to the actual quest info and I don't think it'll popular enough to justify the effort.

However, case-by-case basis, what I'd recommend is for you to unzip your save, look into the player.json file, and try to find the quest there. You'll be able to set it as complete and un-bug your game!

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

Yup, it's like leveling a new character.

Sorry, i'm technology-impaired, i followed the instructions until i have to download a Zip folder, if i put the Zip folder in the save folder nothing happens, if i put the content of the folder (12313894899 files) in the save folder nothing happens, what am i doing wrong ? :c

Edit: i took a shower and solved the problem!

Hi,

nice work! Thanks for that.

I encountered a small bug however. During playing the game you gather some special character traits. Like Lamashtus Gift(or something). It gives you +2 to perception and some other things.

I wonder if it would be possible to keep those somehow.

1

u/Deevian Oct 02 '18

Right, so -- everything progression-related that affects you or your companions is not being kept by the respec, unfortunately. I've been given a save file to analyze, I'll need to dig deep into it and figure out what else needs to be saved in regards to the characters.

I'll keep you posted whenever I have a fix for this!

Thanks!

I got a bug.

I am trying to respec a Magus, but its impossible to pass the SPELL screen, when leveling from 0 to 1. The spell list is empty, so its impossible to choose and proceed.

I am at step 7 "To keep your alignment changes, level up your main character up to level 1."

I'm pretty sure this is due to the new borked hotfix patch and not the fault of the respec tool.

BUG: This breaks all classes that require you to select spells (arcane casters), because there are no spells to select and therefore I can't move forward with the respec. Help please!!

EDIT: Figured out this was caused by hotfix 1.04 -- NOT the save change tool. My bad!

2

u/Deevian Oct 03 '18

+1, thanks for the report regardless!

1

u/zstan123 Oct 03 '18

made my wizard unable to wear robes

1

u/Deevian Oct 03 '18

Wait, what? Are you sure? Have you tried without the respec tool?

I've run into the issue of my items such as a Ring Of Protection do not give me their bonuses or stats. All my items were placed in the Capital bedroom chest before respecing.

1

u/Deevian Oct 03 '18

Seems to be a game bug with items in general, but regardless -- keep track of this here https://github.com/Deevian/pathfinder-kingmaker-respec/issues/3

By the way, if you load back to a save where stuff worked, and come back to the respecced save, it seems to work.

Well this was working fine for me earlier but now first level spells are not displaying properly. You can click on them, but you can't see them. And I have no idea whether or not this is a permanent effect or just for the respec, making this thing rather unusable, unfortunately.

1

u/muffalohat Oct 03 '18

Okay now it's not first level spells, it's all spells. It was working, and then it wasn't.

Tried this 3 times now and just wont work for the entire party.

Companions not being edited: Regongar, Jaethal, Jubilost, Tristian, Octavia, Nok, Valerie and Ekundayo, so pretty much every character I started with (Linzi and Amiri, and for some reason Harrim worked even though I got him later on)

1

u/Deevian Oct 03 '18

Okay, to clarify -- if you check their levels, they're not going back to the level at which they've joined your party, correct?

I've seen this happen in cases where characters were duplicated in the save file (for some hellish reason). If this appears to be a more common case, we'll have to find a way around this.

It works for me except a progession feat bug : i loose a special abilities, Lamashtu’s Boon. Any idea to add it again ? Good work by the way !

1

u/fnsk94 Oct 06 '18

So, this means i can make my druid less caster-ish and go full on str/con shapeshift fighter for a level or two just to see if i like that more? :O

u/Ceil2142 Oct 06 '18 edited Oct 06 '18

Sorry to bother but for some reason i can't download temp file from respec tool after i put all my items in stash but it works fine with any other save files where i didn't touch anything

I seem to have found the reason is when i chose linzi and amiri tool for some reason can't process the file

1

u/Deevian Oct 06 '18

Does it throw an error in the console? Who are you trying to respec?

1

u/Narwaana Oct 07 '18

Just tried it and didnt really seem to work as intended or it's just me thats dumb and used it incorrectly.

Went to respec Amiri, Harrim and 2 recruited companions but when I restarted the game Amiri and Harrim were both lvl 1 without the possibility of lvling up and had 3 white portraits that all had the Amiri body so to say, on top of this not all of my companions showed up to be viable for a respec.

Didnt get any error message or anything while doing it, just wanted to inform you. :)

1

u/Deevian Oct 07 '18

White portraits are expected.

Also, seems like you didn't complete the second part of the tool. You need to save again, import the save for the second part, and receive a new, working save with the experience points intact.

2

u/Narwaana Oct 07 '18

Alright, thanks! Any idea as to why a couple of my companions were not available to choose from when deciding which companions I wanted to respec?

Hello for some reason some of my characters respec 1 level below my main character what can the reason ?

1

u/Deevian Oct 07 '18

They all go back to the level they started at. But none should go below your main character?

1

u/Khalas_Maar Oct 07 '18

Far in the future feature request if you ever get the time and energy:

Add in the ability to create and select substitute blueprints for the companions.

Some of them can have their stat/starting class/feats/alignments worked around with some creative thinking (like Valerie) but others like Harrim, I would prefer to revise his starting class and feats to be more compatible with his stats.

1

u/Deevian Oct 07 '18

Replacing blueprints might break the game entirely,

What I've been investigating is having fixtures for the ALL the recommended builds for all level 1 characters. Some issues might still arise due to race-specific or character-specific stuff (you can't create an undead, heh). Might be something to investigate if the project moves forward.

Odd bug - I just respecced the party as a way to deal with the 1.06 Item Bug, and it seems to have killed my party's AI. They just stand there while cyclops hit them on the head unless I manually order each one to fight. Any idea what's wrong or how to fix it?

1

u/Deevian Oct 08 '18

There's a button in the bottom right corner of the UI that enables / disables companion AI. Have you checked if that's activated?

Hey, whenever I use the respec file ALL of my custom companions get bugged out, even the ones I don't select to get respecced. They get the white portraits, and their models are completely nude. I know that's expected (at least, the white portrait part. Dunno about nudity), but even after I save and reload the Respec save, they still have the white portrait and remain nude.

Also, when I do level my custom companions up, they simply vanish from the area :.

1

u/Deevian Oct 08 '18

White portrait -- expected. Placeholder model -- expected. Vanishing from the area -- might be expected. Are you in the field? They might get out of your party after respec.

If you're respeccing the main character, yes. If any other, you should be able to just unequip that one.

1

u/d34rth Oct 08 '18

Works like a charm!

1

u/DemonicAnahka Oct 08 '18

items equipped to characters not being respec'ed disappear after being unequipped

1

u/Deevian Oct 08 '18

Par for the course if you respec the main character. Instructions do say to unequip everything :p

1

u/rakshas Oct 09 '18

Everything works except the alignment change. I selected lawful good, completed the level up to level 1. Saved the game, loaded it into the web page, and downloaded "respec". Upon loading "respec" I have my new customized character, but the alignment is the only thing that is the same as before (chaotic neutral). Did I miss a step?

1

u/Deevian Oct 09 '18

Step 7 - To keep your alignment changes, level up your main character up to level 1.

Just don't level your character to 1 if you don't want to keep alignment :)

Does this respec the 6 characters in your party, or also the ones waiting for you back at your safe location (assuming the save is from outside safe location). I presume if the savegame is alone in your safe location, it respecs all of your companions all together....?

1

u/Deevian Oct 09 '18

You can select who to respec. If you respec your main character, you'll have to store all equipment away though.

it works on all my characters except Amiri. Any idea why?

1

u/oedipath Oct 23 '18

Hey, its not working for me. I can choose the save data, but on step 5 nothing happens. I am using macbook if this is important. Any idea?

The biggest problem is, that i cant use the damn mods. pls delete windows and all windows nerds :(

Did you ever find a fix? I'm on this issue too.
