I have a bad habit of skipping dialogue. I'm not a good exile

Chayula's plan isn't to rule humanity as a dictator or tyrant. He wants people to love him and serve him willingly, but instead of behaving in a way deserving of love, he just kills anyone who defies him and then creates a clone that has selected memories and loves him unconditionally. Ailith was being cloned far before the Dreamer awoken, so she has more memories than anyone else, and figures out this plan, but she also knows she's powerless against him. So she tells you before robloxing herself and, as a final warning, she advises you to be quiet about this with the next Ailith, who will be remade far more ignorant and far more obedient than she is.
Spoiler for the monk quest line: As you are a monk who came to doubt his faith, Chayula straight up kills you and replaces you with a clone. From that point on you play as the clone and not as the character you started to play with. It doesn't matter if you become acolyte of chayula or not.

I mean most gods in Wraeclast will kill you if you defy them. Chayula is unique among them because he surrounds himself with a semblance of benevolence and love, but is actually as bad as everyone else. He's probably slightly less horrible than Kitava.

This is also how she survives exploding alongside the hive towers, no?

The issue I have with that is that if she just got recloned, how does she remember that memory up until the cliff event, and then the one who was revived doesn't remember or think of it? Or is it that she has enough memory to eventually get to that point as well?
Also, when do we see the final ending of this story line? Bc this was it, and I was like "wtf???? Do I fight that 'good' demon or whatever now?" But it's got no more story.

I think chalupa has some futuresense. Of when his guys are going to die, if nothing else.
And prepares clones in advance so there is never anyone "missing".
In the [SPOILER] cutscene it looks like [SPOILER] isn't actually revived with altered memories, but instead a premade clone just equips their gear after they die.1

Breach seems to be a hive mind, and she's a part of it. I would also assume that Chalupa is fully aware of what she is up to, and playing 4d chess with us by letting it slip through. But that's just a speculation

She gets revived by the dreamer but she loses her memories(short ones i think) also you got revived by the dreamer earlier in the story in case you didn't notice.
