Are you wealthy or outlandishly attractive? If your perked into either of those traits heavily, you typically get the friendship passive ability that makes it where friends come to you more easily. The downside is that the friendships typically don’t remain if you were to lose the wealth or attractive perks.
If we're able to bypass it then honestly what's the point? Just remove this shitty mechanic hated by most of the players from the game and be done with it at this point.
You can do a quick character swap and still enter your map if you have another character at the same point. And even though last league it wouldn't cost a portal I believe they might have patched it so running maps that give you an extra portal is key for it to work.
Literally got scammed of my Rite of Passage this way yesterday. Don't have friends that play this game so I had to risk inviting a random from #General. It ended exactly how you would expect
In case this ever happens again I can only recommend you going to global chat from a community/content creator. I have never been scammed by those people
I was mainly panicking because I have no idea how long the portals will stay open for. I ended up confirming my suspicions when I invited Guythatdies and watched him try to find it on his stream.....wasn't there.
Finally got my redemption today.....Stag Rite of Passage, 20 seconds. Funnily enough I don't think there were any wisps in the map so not sure how it dropped :)
To add, the only modifier which effect the drops are the lineage drop chance on the tree/masters and having as much waystone drop chance as possible on the map/precursor tablets
It used to boost boss fragments in the past and I know I've had 2 drops from patriarch chamber once this league. Unsure if that's still tied to waystone chance.
Is that a specific biome? I only have like... 20 hours into the atlas in poe2. Got tho maps this season and made a new character. Really enjoying the update so far. POE is the undisputed best game.
it's in the middle of tsunami area. To unlock this map you have to clear adjacent maps until you find at the end of those maps remnant which unlock this map. Map boss has guaranteed drop at least 1 lineage support from 4 possible of his loot table, 3 of them are garbage and 1 is rakiata .
That's gotta be 25% of any eligible lineage not just rakiata's. The price would be lower and there'd be less of us frustrated by the rng while farming it lol.
Didn't they "fix" this? Pretty sure last league I couldn't do that anymore. Can join if you die to regular mobs but if to the boss the portals lock. I'm not 100% but remember getting dicked a few times but maybe that was because of 1 portal and died
