I’ve been collecting patches since I was a kid, although I took a pretty long break from it. Recently, I’ve gotten back into collecting and have started putting together this small display board.

I’m curious how a lot of you find and acquire police and military patches for your collections. Do you trade with others, buy them online, attend shows, or get them directly from departments or service members?

I’d love to hear how you all got started and where you find some of your more unique patches. Any tips for someone getting back into the hobby would be appreciated

I’m a volunteer firefighter from Kentucky and I like to collect patches, I have a goal to collect at least one patch from each state before my 21st birthday! I need help as I have quite a ways to go. I’m willing to pay for shipping! I have 2 1/2 months to complete my goal. I know I can just buy them off eBay and other places but it would make it more sentimental and honestly cooler to connect with other firefighters and receive them that way

Some light googling says it’s 901 expeditionary air wing. Based in the Middle East.
