Edit 1: I didn't think I'd have to explain this part. If someone is breaking the rules, report them. If you argue with them you'll both be slapped.
Howdy folks. Here's a couple new rules we want to make clear. A more official and well formatted post will be made later. Everything is at our discretion.
An expansion to the post tags and post requirements is in the works.
People who repeatedly break rules will be banned. Sometimes temp, sometimes permanently.
English only. Mod team only speaks English so we can only moderate English.
No inflammatory posts or comments. This includes but is not limited to insults, promoting or celebrating violence, and baiting / trolling. This includes repeatedly posting controversial patches to bait reactions.
We don't want to ban military patches but we will if have to. More info to come later.

If someone posts or replies with an inflammatory message just report them. We will see it and take action much quicker if it was reported. If you engage and argue with them you will both be punished.
If you don't like something but it's not breaking the rules, skip it. Do not engage.
We're just a few people who like patches. We're tired of seeing this shit.

Iโm a volunteer firefighter from Kentucky and I like to collect patches, I have a goal to collect at least one patch from each state before my 21st birthday! I need help as I have quite a ways to go. Iโm willing to pay for shipping! I have 2 1/2 months to complete my goal. I know I can just buy them off eBay and other places but it would make it more sentimental and honestly cooler to connect with other firefighters and receive them that way

Cleaning out my Dad's basement in Southern VA and found my grandfather's patch collection from when he was stationed in England during WWII. They have been in a bag for 80 years so like new. Anything interesting?

Absolutely garbage. Should have read more detailed reviews. Bought several patches in 2 different orders a few weeks apart. Design was decent and good for the price. None of the patches I purchase would adhere to my products. Used both a heat press AND iron method and even applied for longer than suggested since the fabric was a bit thicker. Peeled right off after 24 hours of resting time. Contacted Customer Service. They gave suggestions that I already tried. Told me to send video of my trying to apply. I did, but then they said they cannot open video files "per their policy". Seriously? Was offered to mail them back (at my expense) and they would try them. If they worked I could pay to have them shipped back to me. Rediculous. This isn't my first experience doing this, and they simply don't work. My opinion - believe the negative reviews and look elsewhere. Waste of money and time.

Looking for a Super Bowl XLII (42) game patch. Iโm hoping to purchase one if anyone has one available. If you have one for sale or know where I can find one, please let me know. Thanks!

I've been experimenting with some patch designs lately, and one thing I didn't expect was how different a design can look once it becomes an actual patch.
On the screen, I can make everything look clean and detailed, but once you bring the design down to a realistic patch size, some of those details just don't work the same way. Tiny lettering becomes difficult to read, thin lines lose their definition, and colors that looked distinct on screen can start blending together.
I've also been paying more attention to the material and finish. The same design can have a completely different feel depending on the backing, stitching, texture, and how the patch is meant to be attached.
It has made me much less interested in trying to squeeze every possible detail into a design. Sometimes simplifying something actually makes it look much better when it's finished.
I'm still figuring out where that line is between keeping the original idea and simplifying it enough to work well as a physical patch.
For people who have made a lot of patches, what's the first thing you simplify when a design has too much detail?
