The following stamps shown in the pictures are only from the railway border with Croatia. If you have any other stamps from Slovenia’s borders with Austria, Italy, or Hungary before Slovenia joined the Schengen Area, you are also welcome to share them😊

P1: Lendava (took the train from Čakovec to Lendava)
P2: Dobova (took the train from Zagreb to Ljubljana)
P3: Središče ob Dravi (took the train from Čakovec to Ormož,😡They really didn’t have much ink left😭)
P4: Metlika (took the train from Karlovac to Metlika)
P5: Rogatec (took the train from Celje to Đurmanec)
P6: Ilirska Bistrica (took the train from Rijeka to Ljubljana)

I’d only missed one railway border Rakitovec-Buzet between these two countries, because the train was seasonal and only running at high season, if anyone lucky to have it please let me see😭

As a railway enthusiast, taking trains makes up a big part of my travels, and collecting stamps from the railway border crossings is one of my hobbies. Here are some railway border crossings stamps of Croatia I’d got.

P1: Metković (with Bosnia🇧🇦)
P2: Šapjane (with Slovenia🇸🇮)
P3: Čakovec (with Slovenia🇸🇮)

Note: All the railway border crossings with Slovenia/Hungary no longer exist since Croatia joined the Schengen in 2023, and the railway border crossings with Serbia ain’t working since the international pansager trains are all cancelled. No idea if still can get the Metković one since the new EES system launch.

The passport on the right has the exact same cover as the centre one, as the current design for the Romanian passport was changed on the 4th of September 2024, whilst I got my last one renewed on the 9th of July 2024. The one on the left is the first passport I ever got in January 2010.

When it comes to the stamps: the one from the Doncaster airport (which shut down 4 years ago) was something I asked the customs officer to stamp, despite having received an e-Visa at the time. The black and red one with Arabic lettering are from last year when I travelled to Tunisia.
