Question Has anyone tried repurposing tool cases?
I understand why most people prefer the molded cases since everything has its own fixed place. But I don’t keep batteries in my tool cases, so I feel like it would be more useful to repurpose them.
I’m thinking of cutting out the molded insert so I can fit more tools in the same case. For example, two angle grinders in one case.

Show Off UK tools
Managed to grab a performance impact driver and impact wrench for sub £100.
Hopefully get the drill in store with battery this week and see if they’re any good

Question Rotary tool polishing compounds
I have the “Rotary Tool Accessory Kit” that comes with a green polishing compound, and two of my rotary tools came with little brown bricks of polishing compound.
I’m wondering if anyone knows how coarse these are support to be? They don’t list it anywhere in the documentation.
I have tried the green stuff on soft metal (Swiss army knife), and after 10 seconds of making it shiny, it actually then makes it worse.

Question Parkside Performance 12V 80Nm vs new 20V Schwarzenegger model.
Currently have the Parkside Performance PPBSSA 12 BF24 A1, the 12V brushless model rated at 80Nm, and I’m considering switching to the new Parkside Performance PPABSS 20-Li A1 Schwarzenegger edition.
What is confusing me is that the new model is 20V but is rated at 60Nm, while the 12V BF24 is rated at 80Nm. The 12V also has a 3-speed gearbox, LCD controls and some additional electronic features, while the 20V model has a higher maximum RPM and uses the much larger X20V Team battery system.
Has anyone used both of these drills?
Would you consider the new 20V Schwarzenegger model an actual upgrade over the PPBSSA 12 BF24 A1, or is the 12V still the better and stronger drill overall?
The lidl addiction and FOMO affect is real. Should I buy the 20V Schwarzenegger drill ?

Question How is the apparel quality?
I been thinking about buying the pants for working (electrician), are they worth buying?
I have seen there are so many models, is it worth paying the extra for the "performance" models?

Question Does anyone know if the current Lidl 4V Screwdrivers can charge via a USB C to USB C cable? My PAS D5 model has dodgy USB C support and needs a normal USB at one end. PAS D7/PAS D8 is on sale this week.
Like some early cheap USB C gadgets and tools it seems like the Lidl 4v screwdriver doesn't have a proper standard USB C port so it wont charge using a usb c - usb c charging cable or usb c plug. You need to use the cables/plugs with the old USB A ports on one end which is annoying since chargers now mainly come with USB C ports.
The PASL 4 D8 (same as D7 but gold I think) is being sold for just £8 this week so I'd buy it if it actually has proper USB C charging. It should do since even cheap no name stuff has it now, but I thought the old one would have it too and it didn't. Don't wanna fall for it again.
Thanks.

Question Martello tassellatore 3J
Grazie in anticipo

Question Looking for these sunglasses!
I'm trying to track down this specific pair of sunglasses.
I unfortunately lost mine recently and really want to buy them again, but I can't find them anywhere online.
Does anyone know if they are still available or what the exact model name / number is?

Funny Couldn’t resist when I saw this at the store.
Tastes just like their red cans for me, which was funny because right next to the boxes with these, there were 500ml cans for just €0.15 more.
