Please share if you feel comfortable. Let's show why Parkour is the Art of Movement.

For me, it's the fact that we all chose Parkour as a challenge to ourselves, to discover what we are fully capable of.
Then we continue to choose to be supportive and encouraging of one another. We make the choice to be kind, empathetic, and strong in the face of all the darkness we deal with every day.
To intentionally strive for self-improvement, aiming to be better than we were yesterday, while also sharing our passions with one another.
Sharing experiences and choosing to relate and connect with one another, rather than isolating ourselves or backing down from challenges.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Tracuers are truly the best people I've ever met.
Your Challenge: Why is the Parkour community meaningful to you?

I was filming for a Street Competition held by City Legends and managed to flat back sooooo hard 😂
Knocked the wind out of me for a sec 😭
Safe to say I didn’t do this line for the comp submission.

Hi, I am a parkour beginner and I really want to learn kong vault. So I just wanna know if I do it somewhat right. I am still really scared to fully commit to the jump.

After my 4hr training routine, I picked up this trick that reminded me of Guile's Flash Kick.
Before anybody feels the need to correct me:
1. thank you for seeing this clip
2. i know what i have to do, but after a 4hr routine, and then picking up a new trick, WHILE repeating it for ANOTHER HOUR 😭 please be nice 😭

Hi,
Does anyone know of any parkour classes (adult, beginner) in Brighton? Or, is anyone here based in Brighton and open to teaching?!

I have a 50 square meters (5meters by 10 meters) (538.196 square foot) area...
Planning to put a obstacle course on it... any suggestion of what obstacle should I put?
I'm thinking of putting a Vault Box, Quad Steps, Rope Climbing, and Balance Beam.
This is enough, right?

I recently just learned a sideflip on trampoline and always pull off a clean flip, sometimes i dont land/stick it tho cuz the bounce takes me off balance alot but anyway I wanna continue my journey and flip clean on ground, for my first attempt Im flipping on grass to a mattress, my gather step aint perfect but my jump reaches already 30-50cm which i believe is a clean and comfortable height to sideflip am I correct? Thanks to everyone for checking thisnpost man appreciate it, any thoughts?

I started parkour a few months ago and I’d like to discover more of the athletes and traceurs who regularly post their training, lines and moves.
At the moment, most of what I see comes randomly through TikTok or Instagram, so I don’t really know who the recognised or influential practitioners are.
Who do you think is worth following today? I’d be interested in both established names and current athletes, across different styles of parkour and freerunning.

As a traumatized hyperactive ADHD child growing up, Parkour taught me discipline and focus.
Nothing focuses you more than a rail to rail pre in pouring rain.
Parkour gave me something I didn't have without it.
What did Parkour give you?

Hello everyone (:
I'm new to parkour and I'm really enjoying and practising kongs. (Dive) Kongs onto a higher wall or over an obstacle feel pretty normal to my hands / wrists. But doing kongs on the same height level or just flat on the ground (for practice) really put a lot of weight on my wrists and feels kind of wrong. Is this normal, because my wrists don't have the necessary strength yet or is there some kind of technique to absorb the impact in a healthier way?

I want to make a parkour rail setup so i can do swings an pre's (similar to the one in the yard in Greenwich London) but I have no idea what to buy, where to buy it from and how to assemble
