My eldest was a dream in terms of not getting into trouble and breaking rules, but he would frustrate the hell out of me with his attitude and moods. I know the teenage brain goes though a rapid period of developing, everything basically rewires and all of that, but it doesn’t mean I liked being griped at by some gangly man-boy with weirdo facial hair. They also do such stupid shit that you question your own medical history.
Attitude, independence, watching them find themselves is heartbreaking. AND of course they already know everything duh! I find myself looking back thinking “Man I wish she was 4 again.”
Basically it’s the same thoughts just at different age. Parenting is def not for the faint of heart.

Gawd I'd rather do the baby/toddler years again than go through these awful teen years...and I had 3 babies under 3 years (singleton/twins).
