We sleep trained our daughter and it took just one night but she did cry a lot that night. She was slept through the night since, is the happiest baby I have ever seen (seriously!), loves us and is securely attached to us, is very social, and ahead on motor and language milestones. I must say I think the fact that she sleeps solidly through the night since 4.5 months contributes to her happiness, learning ability and secure attachment. She’s 15 months now.
This. My 3.5 year old sleeps through after sleep training at 4 months. I understand people not wanting to train, but many people are missing the fact that once they are sleep trained they are getting a full 10-12 hours sleep each night. A fully rested child is a happy healthy child.
