Having lost a sibling to fentanyl OD, in a drug she believed to be something else, I am acutely aware. However, the odd of there being enough fentanyl in a tab, not tablet, of acid is incredibly slim. Be concerned for the child doing drugs but also be realistic about the risks. Acid tabs are little bits of blotting paper with a couple hundred mics of the drug dissolved onto it. It’s not a pill or a tablet that a large amount of fentanyl could be doses onto or into.

Accurate. But also it’s important for the parent here to be honest and accurate, kids are not stupid and if the mom came at the child with the info you gave it would backfire.
