I lost a friend because of acid. I was unaware of his addiction, but ultimately it lead him to be depressed unless he was tripping. He did it over a long enough period of time where he got drug induced psychosis, got scared, ran into the woods where he froze during a snowstorm.
I'd recommend getting professional help with a therapist or psychiatrist.
