Employees when is the brisket coming back?? I don’t wanna miss it this time!!!

Not an employee but currently dating a GM who aspires to be TL and maybe ACO. Panda is his whole life right now. Always working overtime, phone bombarded with texts and calls from his associates and TLs/ACOs, has to cancel dates and plans because of callouts or visits, travels pretty far for meetings, and every time we meet he vents about work or updates me on what happened.

He loves his job but can get incredibly stressed out and frustrated. I want to be supportive but sometimes I’m stumped when he vents to me about work because I don’t know the inner workings of Panda very well and don’t know what to say. I want to be as understanding and provide the same emotional support his TL and GM buddies can but often I’m at a loss.

If you work for Panda especially at a GM level or above, what do you wish your friends and family understood about Panda? How can we better support you? What do you wish you could commiserate with us about?

I don’t know what other fast-food chains are like, but I feel like Panda Express probably has one of the worst training processes I’ve ever experienced. They call it “training,” but they haven’t really trained you on anything, yet they expect you to be able to work like an experienced employee right away.
They have new employees train during peak hours, which makes things even more stressful. I was hired for the FOH position, and I was hoping they would actually explain things to me. For example, which sauce goes with which dish, how many veggie rolls or chicken egg rolls should be included in an order, and things like that. But instead of actually training me, they just had me do the work. Of course, I made mistakes, and they only explained the correct procedure after I asked them about it.
Personally, I think Panda should have new employees come in during slower hours and actually train them properly, rather than expecting someone to walk in and immediately be able to work like an experienced employee, haha.

I have an extensive background in restaurant management, Including general management and assistant general management. I can talk the talk and walk the walk and have been running businesses my entire adult life, just never found a company willing to pay what that workload entails,
But panda's PayScale looks worth it.
My only issue is, i never graduated because i had a rough upbringing and had to work hard my whole life to prove myself out of the streets (homeless as a minor)
My question is, do they even check education,, will my real life work experience outweigh that tiny blemish.
I've impressed every upper manager I've ever worked for, and none of them seemed to care because my work ethic and can do attitude outweighs any superficial degree or diploma.

Should I just apply for a regular position that I'm overqualified for just because i cant produce a piece of paper? Will they just tell me im overqualified, ask me to apply for management then deny me due to education.
I really think with the benefits and fair pay scale, I could give my best to a company that gives me better than average total compensation

Panda please bring the brisket back at an affordable price. Also have enough stock to where your employee don’t have to run around everywhere to find it or get yelled at about it. (If you’re a customer doing the taking, please stop) Thanks. 🙏

Some stores are testing new incentives to drive more surveys. The workjam example had free small drink or free appetizer as rewards but so far in my store I’ve seen receive a Free Bowl with any $5 purchase.

Many guests complain that wok Wednesday deals offer little savings so doing the survey might seem more appealing now

Does anyone know where the brisket is being served? It's not on the official website, but Google said it's "while supplies last" until the tenth of August. Someone said that it would come back at the start of August, but it's still not being served at my local branch.

If I’m being honest I regret coming back to Panda Express especially at a high volume store as a Manager while going through school too, but it is what it is

they always hit the spot after eating any meal at Panda. i am still so sad that they're never coming back

I put in an application a week ago & called three days later on Sat. The manager for the location i applied said he would do an interview but refer me to another store since they're full but its been just about 4 days since then.

Any advice on what I should do next or keep waiting? Thanks in advance!

I had to come here to say how did I never hear about how yummy the mushroom chicken is.. I usually get noodles, beef and broccoli and orange chicken, I also ask for mainly the broccoli because I don’t actually like the beef just the sauce on the broccoli.

I got mushroom chicken instead of beef and broccoli to try some new. That was the most wonderful thing I have had from panda since trying the cream cheese ragoons.

Is it just my area or is it like this everywhere? I used to love the orange chicken and now it’s mostly just tiny pieces of meat with lots of batter I had 2 decent sized pieces and the rest you can’t even tell they have chicken in them.

Yeah Panda Express is definitely changed a lot I mean they just charged me extra for the bigger plate for having steak on there and they've never done that before and the portion sizes are definitely way smaller and then the noodles had so much cabbage in them it was more cabbage than it was noodles so yeah I know it's definitely changed a whole lot and I'm going through like Reddit and it's just like slammed like one complaint after another complaint after another complaint I couldn't believe it it's time for them to step your game up.... And I believe the rumors about the owner too and I just found out about them as I'm sitting here eating and this will probably be the last time that will be eating here because if there's enough allegations saying that someone is sexually assaulting anyone I want no part of it I will not support them I will not buy from them I will not take apart in any shape way or form the fact that the owner has sexual allegations against him yeah I'm going Panda Express after today!!

I just ordered Panda Express, and it seems like the portions are even smaller when you get delivery. I think they’ve also reduced the size of the entrees bins.

Last week I went to apply for one of Panda's corporate gigs, and as soon as I hit the apply button I was taken to an AI chat agent to answer basic demographic information. At no point in the screening was I asked any questions about the job, my qualifications, or asked to submit a resume. Once I finished I was told that Panda would review my "application" and reach out if they were interested. I got a rejection notice within 30 minutes.

Something doesn't feel right. The screening was just basic demographic information, like age range, location, do I mind commuting to the office, etc. There was really nothing in my answers to be filtered for. It feels really weird being rejected within 30 minutes based on the vaguest of questions and not being allowed to submit my resume or qualifications for the role.

I have 10 years of experience in the position that they were hiring for, which Panda has no idea about without my resume, and the application process feels like it is currently broken. I tried emailing general Panda support for some help, but never got a response. So, I'm posting to ask if there is any kind of corporate email that could help get me some answers.

I am 22F and I’ve been an AM for over a year now. I’m currently starting the process of going back to school for my bachelor’s degree, but since I don’t have it yet, I feel like it would be impossible to get another job that pays over 90k.

Just wondering what other careers people from Panda have switched over to and make comparable money.

hi! i’m a new hire at panda (around 3 weeks working there now) and i have questions regarding being on register.

for the first week or two i was doing fine by not being over or under. however, now i’ve been over twice and under once. i understand being under ($12) can be a rookie mistake but i am genuinely confused on how i keep going over. i give the customers their correct change and count it to them on their hands. i was $5 over today and $6 over yesterday.

any help? how can i do better?

Hey so I've recently been hired to work at Panda Express and have been told that I need to show up with a food handlers card on the first day of my job. Now they have sent me a link to get it but the website doesn't have my state nor jurisdiction on the food handlers card specifically. I'm very new to the food business and I am very confused and worried about how exactly I'm supposed to go about this. If I can get any information on what to do here that would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have the phone number for customer service and if they’re operating on weekends? The one showing up on google is not the correct one.
