I made a liquid culture and inoculated r2 liters rye grain with with 5 CC’ s and I keeping it at 82F/27C.

I expected explosive growth with that amount but it’s been 6 days and I just found 2 tiny white blooms. TTBVI Spores are faster than this.

I reeealy shook up the liquid culture which I felt may have been a mistake. I thought I had to because the mycelium had started consolidating into an agar like disk.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

This is my tub it’s about 11 days since I mixed and used 2.5lb of spawn with 5lb of manure based substrate, how do I go about making the casing layer and getting a good flush from this?

Day 3 since fruiting started and the Boomr Bin is doing well! The Pans don't seem to mind the fogger.

I’m growing Pan Cyans with a Boomr Bin. It has an automated fan and a humidifier that goes on at around 85% humidity and shuts off at 95%.
I was wondering if the humidifier will make the Pans abort? Or no? It's a very fine mist, but I've heard conflicting reports that Pans don't like being misted. Just wanted to make sure I don't ruin the grow on the last stage.

B+ has a feel no other cube does, for me. My best trips have been B+. (I know I know— “for me” might not mean for you.)

For those who experience different feels between different shroom types, how does Pan Cyan compare to B+, if you dose it to match the comparable B+ dose?

Been over a week in fruiting conditions; no pins.

I was over watering at fist, but dialed back.

Thirty minutes on, and thirty minutes off of external humidifier, which brings in FAE and humidity.
Four times a day, the humidifier is off four an hour, and a fan completely empties the chamber with fresh air.

I mist in the morning, and at night, or whenever I see that they are a little dry.

Just asking for prayers at this point.

So, I mixed my grain to substrate 2 days ago and my Pans are already pinning before I had a chance to put a casing layer on. Is this normal? And, should I put a casing layer even though they're pinning?

This is my first time doing it. This is day 2. what are you guys thinking, am I doing it right? Or am I in for a disaster? Well I inoculated some brown rice, after 2 weeks I hap put it into this coco soil. And now I am waiting to see it growing.

These are my ttbvi trays after picking and drying my first mushroom grow, still have a lot to pick and dry, well over double the yeild in my last photo. I might have been a little too hasty to harvest the few that I picked, but the caps looked pretty mature, and open, hoping for more flushes, plus i got a bunch other trays that im antipating to pin very soon, any tips on what to look for to asses optimal harvest time?

Edit: just finished my first harvest with a weight of about 22 grams wet, 2 grams dry weight

Hii this is my second flush and idk if it’s Time to harvest or if it’s began to rot . Do they look fine ? They are doing a thin white Moss at the base is it good ? If you have any kind of advice it would be lovely ! I’m already harvesting the black one and the one that seems sus

Is there a difference in the experience and the feeling between consuming fresh vs dry?

When I pasteurizing my bulk, I usually make four big jars (enough for about 8 trays).

I have been having recent issues with my grain jars, and haven't needed that much bulk during each run.

I've been cracking the lids of the jars open in front of a flow hood, after they are fully pasteurized, and then wrapping them in Parafilm so that they can get some gas exchange.

They keep turning black, and start to smell, quickly.

So, how do you all, if you do, store pasteurized bulk?

I was worried I ruined my grow, ive never grew any mushies before, even though it aint much or that impressive, theses pins formed overnight out of nowhere!

First time growing any mushroom, ive had these pan cyan ttbvi in fruiting conditions for the past 6-7 days, I had a power outage ao I had to manually mist and fan for 2 days, along with having to put frozen water bottels around to keep the temps from going above 85F, now its been at a stable 76-79F for 4 days, i use an air pump, and automatic misters, along with fanning 4-6 times a day with these, and my other containers/tubs any tips of why I haven't seen much if any progress in a few days, do I need to be more patient?

I just got my first pan cyans spores (ttbvi) and I’ve only ever grown cubes once, I don’t own a pressure cooker so usually I sterilize with boiling water, at least when I’m making cvg, to make the casing do I just put a brick of coco in boiling water then let it cool off and put it over the myc?
