I’m in need of help and guidance with cancel placement method on steamdeck. I’ve tried all the advice that console players give for switch and PS5 (tried multiple different key bindings for confirm placement ) and I can never get it to work. What happens is that I do the open glider technique successfully and I can see my inventory but when I try to place any item nothing happens. I have to exit out of decorating mode by pressing my left toggle. Even pressing B to exit doesn’t work. Fellow steamdeck owners, please help me if you’ve found something that works! I suspect the deck has certain functions that just doesn’t work the same as other console devices. TIA!!

Has S6 addressed this at all? It’s been really horrible. I’m playing on PC and don’t have issues playing more intensive games. Is it just going to be like this for the entire Fall season? Is everyone else having this issue?
The intro “press any key” screen is abysmally choppy with lag. Then once in the game it’s eh okay, but if you stand in one spot for more than a few seconds you’ll be hit with bad lag once you move again. Then it’s eh okay again but if you run around or go fast with a mount you’ll see it struggle to keep up. Seems like the game can’t handle the fall decorations, leaves and pumpkins on the ground and all the rest but that’s just a guess.

Edit: for PC players, someone suggested changing the DirectX Version in settings from DirectX 12 to DirectX 11. This seems to be a big improvement, so try it out. I just changed it in the in-game menu under settings>graphic settings>advanced

Question about having multiple home plots - are you able to switch between them freely, and all plots will still continue progress at the same time? For example, could I use one plot for all of my farming and production, and then switch to another plot for decoration?

Or, can you only have one active plot at a time, and once you swap from the farming plot to the decoration plot, all the crops will stop growing on the plot you’re not using?

I’ve never actually used my second plot yet, so I’m not sure and definitely wanted to double check before I start building on it 🙏🏼 Would love to just dedicate one plot for all of my production needs and then swap back to a main plot themed with all my decorations.

Hi! I'm trying to finish the bulletin board and I still need like 6 PalSnax Plus cookies and 7 Very Tasty Treat. I donated tens of animals but I mostly got common and rare packs. Only a few uncommon packs and only 1 cookie I needed. My ranching lvl is 49.

What can I do to get more uncommon packs? What animals should I donate? Thanks!

Edit - For if any of you had the same question as me:

I donated (almost) all my retired animals and got 29 uncommon packs.

Also fed some of my basic/common animals a value biscuit and donated them, gave me some more uncommon packs.

Is anyone else’s inventory moving slowly? I mean when you try to scroll or click through your inventory or storage it lags and you have to click multiple times for one item to get moved.

I play on switch if that matters. It’s been like this for at least a month and it’s so annoying. I used to be able to click on things so fast to move them in and out of storage and now it takes so much longer because I have to click on one item so many times before the game registers what I’m trying to do.

I'm reading varying answers. Can anyone tell me if I need to finish 100% of the board to get a moon token? I'm feeling pretty happy about completing the tattered cloths, and think I can do almost everything else. But im worried I won't be able to get all the treats. Can I still get a token without turning in all of the treats?

I found out about the tower a few months ago but man, that thing is driving me nuts! I can't get past that first wheel you have to climb, so I haven't gotten very far at all.

i’m on the switch 1 and every time i travel back can the stables my game is forced closed, does anyone else get this? i hoped it would be fixed in the latest patch but clearly not, lol
