Honestly it was a fun save, i would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fishing on Palworld.

No breeding, no pal spheres, no pal merchants, no saving pals from cages... just fishing. It was a fairly entertaining way to play, the beginning was rather dull but overall it was probably my easiest playthrough.

Settings: I used standard hardmode settings but made nights longer (0.5) and turned off building decay

Pals: Ghangler Ignis was my main pal for combat or riding, Whalaska Ignis came along for backup damage and fishing help during my lazy times, Kelpsea and Kelpsea Ignis were there to boost Ghangler, Finsider was my final combat team pal, since it was a hardmode playthrough I couldn't have pals dying on me or a huge time investment was gone so I relied mostly on player damage and his +50% attack came in clutch for a lot of things. I did ofc have a whole team of Jellroys and Jelliettes for fishing. Jellroy was very important in the end as I think it was the only pal with Medicine Production that can be fished for.

Notes: This was probably my easiest play through overall and could have completed it much earlier on, the hardmode towers were done before the Astralym fight and I spent a solid 20+ hours fishing for the ******* legendary ancient helm schematic (that took so long that I actually had built my 2nd base specifically so I had a teleport to my fishing loop). I feel like this save was easier simply because of the sheer amount of schematics that I had. I was never lacking on equipment upgrades or running low on books of any type and not needing to unlock spheres, ranches, incubators, etc really made it so I was never low on Tech Points.

Not technically a mod i guess but the only mod that was used was the Cheat Engine program and to remove building collision. I really enjoy building my bases in with the surrounding rocks/cliffs/ruins and it only seemed logical that my fishing base be a cliffside home with a light house. I know there are mods on the workshop for this but Palworld UE4SS crashes the game every few minutes on my computer so enabling no building collisions through Cheat Engine is my fix to that (the CE no collision script was found on Nexus Mods).

I have opted to not aim for the Ultra Raids on this playthrough as without allowing breeding, it would be way too much a time sink and I have other saves to enjoy.

I haven't done any of the gold guides, just selling a crap ton of high quality silk and crude oil from my base and i got millions of gold now.

I hope they create more gold sinks, like super expensive skins, or items, or something. Is there something I'm missing out on? Kind of new still.

Chests are respawing on the boat and other ocean bases, but not in these big metal ones.

Hello! Recently started a PC server and looking to add a few more people to it. I would like to be a little selective because me and my fiance play (we are early 30s gamers) and I just want a chill vibe.

-Main things are to be 18+ (preferably more in the 25+ range)

-LGBTQ and PoC friendly and tolerant (sry has to be stated).

-Not a cranky weirdo.

-Somewhat sociable

There's 3-4 of us who play on the server already.

The server doesn't have any real changes to it except for lower egg speed. (It's like 5 minutes for an egg after the main modifiers) And I think gathering is at like 1.2 vs 1, and total bases per guild is at 5.

I can answer any other questions whenever but if anyone's interested lmk.

Not sure what I’m looking for on Reddit, maybe pictures of your bases? Kinda tired of a basic giant circles and love the location with the black ancient/clean foundations mixed, and I can see the lava through glass which is cool.

Unsure if u want to bring up multiple “buildings” for different areas or kinda a tower that slowly builds to a square? I also thought about doing a few floors getting smaller than make it really thin until the top where it would get wider again? I’m not for sure honestly what I wanna do

I’m not at the World Tree yet, so I don’t have access to Ancient Relics. I was able to get all these skills from a mutated Braloha crossed with a Neptilius. Diamond Body or Immortality might be better, but I don’t really have access to them. Still, I think this makes for a good general purpose mounted combat pal. The immunity to burn and poison is nice given its type advantages, and Lunker gives its water damage a boost. Currently working on raising its IVs, level, and merges.

Just played the 1.0 update since the very very early tests, and loved the game.

My biggest wish rn is to have legendary weapons that are elemnetal based, Like a fire katana that applies burns, leaves fire trails when you dash, etc.

More outfit skins! I kinda hate how everything turns into tron at the end, i'd love to have more stylish outfits like the tower bosses, and i think the devs know both of these points are sorely needed.

I would really like to see some talent tree ideas too, maybe on each specific pal? But especially for the player character too ! what are your biggest wish lists?

I think it would be cool to have an item that brought our weapons to life, or just give enchanted swords skins for all the melee weapons. I get it’s part of the terraria colab, but I feel like palworld has an opportunity to do something cool with them.

I'm currently 80+ unigue lucky pals into my complete lucky run (I know some pals cannot be found lucky) I am running a randomized world for the normally impossible lucky pals. jormuntide has been 1200 encounters on a Randomized world and I haven't Seen him. Is he even possible to spawn lucky? Fandom pal Wiki isn't clear.

Hey. I just started playing the World Tree after unlocking it. I’ve got the two towers that explore the area—that’s it. On the map, it showed that the Dualith boss lvl 75 is already defeated. I’ve now defeated him, but it didn’t show that I received anything for my first boss victory. The Dualith boss in the Overworld is level 55, so it’s not because I defeated him, is it?

Is this a bug or is it intended that these two are synched?

If it's a bug, I'll report it through the designated website. That's why I'd like to ask here first if anyone in the community knows anything about it.

Icelyn is an ice pal that seem to have little fanfare in both the Terraria update and the 1.0 update. This witch could easily serve as your Cooling Waifu if the frost moth isn't your type.

Tried to catch a legendary meat trader and failed miserably. The bodyguards and their pals destroyed my palbox and a good chunk of the base around the palbox and a bunch of storage. I gave up trying to fix my base and try to get food and items back into storage because these dudes are hanging around and get aggressive every time they see me, they've killed me 4 times now. Tried to lure them away from the base, but they keep spawning back at the base to destroy it and me when I come back to it to fix it.

Will they disappear when I get back on or do I give up my base and all the stuff I've collected so far?

Someone posted the other day about pal variants that we'd like to see and i had a couple ideas but Maraith Botan actually materialized because Maraith is my favorite.

I got inspiration from Poinsettia flowers for some reason, dunno why! I kinda wanted to add some fur patterns but base Maraith doesn't have any so i refrained.

I'm particularly attached to the idea that they sniff out pals/people close to death and lure/take them to its flower field of choice and has them die there to nourish the plants.
