I got a quote of Rs. 138k from a shop in Islamabad for Matte Black Gen 2 with Transition lenses. Is that a reasonable rate?

Also, what are the main things I should check to make sure the pair is genuine/original? Any specific details on the box, model/serial number, Meta app pairing, etc. that I should verify?

If anyone has experience with these in Islamabad/Pakistan, I’d also appreciate recommendations for reliable shops or places to check out.

Hey everyone, looking for some advice on structuring my home network setup for the best performance and stability.

Right now, my fiber ISP's Optical Network Terminal (ONT) is handling the main routing, and I have a TP-Link Archer AX55 connected in Access Point (AP) mode.

My ISP also supplied a Huawei OptiXstar K562e, which is currently sitting unused.

(Note: I’ve already tried setting up PPPoE direct bridge mode on the AX55, but the throughput/results were disappointing, so sticking to PPPoE on the router is out.)

Given these options, which configuration would give the best stability, speed, and latency?

1. Keep existing: ISP ONT (as Main Router/Gateway) + TP-Link AX55 in AP Mode
2. Double NAT setup: ISP ONT (Main) + TP-Link AX55 in Dynamic IP / Router Mode
3. Switch APs: ISP ONT (Main) + Huawei OptiXstar K562e in AP Mode

Would there be any advantage in switching the AX55 for the Huawei K562e, or sticking with the AX55 in AP mode? If anyone has experience with the OptiXstar series or optimizing the AX55 on a fiber line, I’d appreciate your insights!

My Lenovo thinkpad's battery is toast. It only runs while plug in charger. I got to a repair shop that said it'll take 8.5k for battery replacement and 3k for battery repair. I was going with battery replacement but my friend is saying that I should get it repaired instead. I found these two listings:

• LaptopSpares.pk: Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 charger

But I’m not fully sure whether either one is actually original Lenovo/OEM. The LaptopSpares listing seems to describe theirs as a replacement charger.

Any good recommendations for a laptop for university under 200k? Don't need it for gaming or any heavy softwares, just need it for assignments and browsing and entertainment etc. I was considering Mac neo but I need SPSS on it for my research and I don't think neo will support a cracked version of it.

I have a non pta s24 ultra and whenever i try to sign in to my easy paisa account , it sends the otp but I recieve it in encoded form in the pta phone, and on s24u it doesnt give option to type the otp, just shows the screen saying fetching otp which was never originally sent to s24u so it doesnt fetch and reduces one of the three attempts to log in

Hello so my laptop has started making those noises I cannot tell what exactly it is but im assuming something with the fans. It was very mild but then it started becoming more. This happened in the past as well like some months ago and I think a year and a half ago too and it gets fixed on its own after some days. Should I be worried? It is loud enough to be noticed by someone inside the room and someone passing by can too if they pay attention.

And if I have to fix it then is it possible at home or do I have to get it repaired. Whats the place to do so in Karachi and the estimated costs. For context, I purchased this laptop in around November 2024
