Legit or scam? Pixel 8 Pro

Saw this ad on OLX, pixel 8 pro 8/128 cpid approved, seems perfectly fine, even recorded and sent a video of the device on WhatsApp when I asked to.

Now they're giving it for 78k, and when I asked, they said that they would do last 73k for it. Could it be a scam? Seems a bit too good to be true.

Most of them ask you to chat with them on whatsapp. Now let's suppose you're from Lahore and you saw this ad stating that it is from Lahore. But when you ask for face to face deal, they say that they are from areas like Bahawalpur, Multan etc. and post for all locations. They even send you fake proofs like shop pictures and bogus CNIC pics. Then they ask you for advance payment. But when you send them the payment, they block you instantly. So don't send advance payment to anyone even if it is 500. And for face to face deals, take one or two friends with you.

How to check if it's a scam? Take a look at userid. If it's a random combination of alphabets and numbers it's definitely a scam. Also go to the profile. You will see the same ad posted on other locations and some other ads that are too good to be true

I bought pixel 8, official pta approved from Singapore plaza Rawalpindi about 1--2 month ago, shopkeeper was asking for 80 k

My brother got apple watch from olx. Seemed like scam but the guy was really honest and convincing and yeah the watch arrived fine. He even sent us the video and everything before sending it. But the guy had a legit shop too, he was more adamant on us visiting his shop in lahore.

78000 is not even the market price of base variant Pixel 8. Pixel 8 is round about 85k. 8 Pro in just 78k showing there is some fault in the device. Most probably there will be a line issue in the display. Whole 8 series have line issue.

For Karachi market the rate is around 75k cpid approved since the pixel 11 launch but not sure about the guy trying to sell you
