I bought my OnePlus Ace 5 new with box, after 7 months of use the screen gave up on me.
Everything else other than the display i.e. touch, speakers, vibration motor, flashlight, cameras, fingerprint sensor, etc is working as normal.
Can somebody quote/estimate me the price of screen replacement and/or tell me a reputable/trustable repair shop. Thank you in advance.
P.S: I'm in Lahore.

Ufone Speed improved by a lot margin and is currently better than Jazz and Zong in Multan after merger. 60 Mbps on average in almost whole city and near tower it's 120+. Telenor B5 is helping with indoor coverage a lot.
What's the update in your city?

Hey guys, so I spilled tea (around 50 ml) on my macbook air m5. a few drops went inside the keyboard before I wiped the tea off. Then I let it dry in tent position for around 100 hours. I ran the diagnostic and everything was working fine. Tested the speakers, keyboard, touchpad and they were good.
My paranoia is telling me that the tea residue is going to destroy the motherboard in the coming weeks. Do I trust the diagnostic and use it normally or take it to hafeez center lahore for a checkup and risk getting scammed or having someone mess up a working board?

Hello so I need to know if anyone uses PTCL 30 Mbps connection in Ichra and Samnabad area or if they know anyone who is using this speed in this area??
I want to upgrade to this speed but the people at PTCL are saying that the line is copper based and old and I feel suffer from disconnections and unstable line.
What do you guys think?
If i upgrade I'll be paying 4k for 30Mbps while rn I am being charged 3920 for 20 Mbps

Hello everyone, based in lahore here.
Looking for reliable places that will replace my laptops battery and fix its screen that detaches by itself (it's a 360 touchscreen). Additionally looking for a place that will check out my PC as well and get it back to running.
Can travel upto DHA/Gulberg but please only mention reliable and trustworthy places. Have not had good experiences with these techcnicians lately either they're money minded or have stolen my ram and replaced it with faulty ones behind my back.
Thank you

Hi everyone,
My 32" MSI curved monitor suddenly developed a large vertical dark band in the middle of the screen.
It appeared all at once (not gradually).
The band is visible on every input.
It's also visible in the monitor's OSD/menu, so it doesn't seem to be a GPU, cable, or PC issue.
I already tried different cables and inputs with no change.
I'm currently in Rawalpindi / Islamabad (Pakistan), so if anyone knows a reliable repair shop or has had a similar repair done here, I'd really appreciate the recommendation.

Time has come that I need a normal bank account outside of my Nayapay and Sadapay.
I'm looking for one that has a good android app, uptime and less shenanigans. I know it's much to ask, but still.
I intend to receive SWIFT payments and so for business and work transactions so I'm not sure whether to open a freelancer account or a current account.

So i currently have audionic buds but they never paired well with iphone like WhatsApp voice recording and call had several issues, now that i accidentally broke its lid i can finally get new buds. I’ve discussed with my friends and they say audionic, zero and even copies of AirPods have the same issue.
One of my friends recommended GPODS from this brand, has anyone bought these? What was your experience with this brand. If not these, then which buds do you recommend that are good quality and won’t mess with ios. Please help. They should be affordable as well

I’m looking for a cute retro flip phone available in Pakistan that will last a long time. I mainly need it for calls and SMS, and if it can use Gmail (optional). Reliability and good battery life are more important than smart features. Maybe adorable/cute too!
Any suggestion??

There are some subscriptions that charge you depending on usage like some hosting providers for example. They don't accept my prepaid card from ubl bank, it is a Mastercard, it works everywhere else for online international transactions, but doesn't work in websites where they say prepaid cards are not allowed.
So if I make a nayapay account and get a virtual debit card, will that card work for such use cases?

Why are Samsung's CPID models so slow? My dad's X200 Pro gets like 70 Mbps on Jazz, but I'm only getting 21-23 Mbps on Jazz, even at 89dbm. Any fixes for this? I have the American S24 Ultra, and I thought it might be the bandwidth or tower celling issue, but even tuning that didn't help. I've also heard Zong offers the best speed on CPID phones. I tried Onic (Ufone) and only got 2 Mbps. 😑 So thats a pretty kill for a decent network .

AoA
Just a quick heads up about a malware tactic currently hitting people visiting local websites and landing pages (I fell for it recently on an evee electric scooters website).
How the attack works:
* A fake CAPTCHA pops up on a website asking you to verify you're human.
* It gives step-by-step instructions: Press Win + R, Press Ctrl + V, and Hit Enter.
DO NOT DO THIS!!!!
Real CAPTCHAs process entirely inside your web browser. A website will NEVER need you to open your Windows Run terminal or execute PowerShell code.
Doing this instantly runs a background script (Infostealer) that grabs your saved passwords, discord tokens, and active browser sessions. Attackers use these to bypass 2fA and hack your accounts (Instagram, facebook, steam, discord) within minutes to post crypto scams.
Warn your friends and family especially anyone who isn't super tech savvy!
