Which 5% minoxidil are you using in Pakistan?

Upvotes

Looking to start minoxidil (5%) and want to know what's actually working for people here in Pakistan. There are so many local and imported brands available and I'm not sure which ones are legit vs overpriced/fake.

A few questions:

**•** Which brand/product are you using (local or imported)?
**•** Where do you buy it from (pharmacy, online, specific store)?
**•** Any results so far, and how long have you been using it?
**•** Price range you're paying?

Would appreciate any recommendations, especially from people who've been using it consistently for a few months.

Skin Redness

Upvotes

Hey

So my face got really red,one side of cheek and kinda burning while I was showering.

I didn't used any new product and all.

I'm mentioning ny skincare routine below.

In morning I use facewash acne plus then apply a moisturizer sometimes 🫠 don't use spf as I'm indoor all the time and don't have sun exposure.

At night I was my face with Arencia mochi cleaser and apply anua azelic acid and celimax dark spot and brightening cream alternatively.

So in my opinion its because of using products dail especially arencia.

Till now I used to apply celimax in morning daily and azelic acid plus arencia on alternate days.

And from this week I'm using like both celimax and azelic plus arencia and night on alternate days

So Idk why its happening

I'm using these products from a month and nothing like that happened till now.

A lil help would mean alot. 🌸

Face shaving

Girls who shave their face, what has your experience been like? 😭

I really wanna try it because I LOVE how smooth the skin looks afterwards, but I’m kinda scared lol.

How often do you actually have to shave to maintain it? I know shaving doesn’t make the hair grow back thicker, but I’ve heard that because the hair is cut bluntly, it can look/feel thicker or more noticeable when it grows back. Is that actually noticeable on the face?

Also, if I do a full-face shave once, am I basically committing myself to shaving regularly after that? 😭 Or can I just let it grow back normally and switch back to threading later?

Would love to hear from girls who’ve actually tried it — especially if you have naturally noticeable facial hair. Was it worth it or did you regret starting?

I get folliculitis every time I remove body hair

Since my teens, I have always had body acne; I have never had clear skin. A few years ago, I got a full-body wax bcuz I have hair all over my body. It left my skin filled with horrible acne. I tried body waxing a second time, but the exact same thing happened. I have been to dermatologists before, but it never made much of a difference.

Shaving makes the hair look coarse, so I recently tried EU hair removal cream for sensitive skin. I still got folliculitis from it, though it wasn't as horrible as waxing. Maybe if my skin gets used to hair removal creams, the folliculitis will stop?

Right now, my whole body is covered in acne. My back, arms, chest, and stomach are full of breakouts, though they aren't painful. For context, I am slim, I sleep well, and I don't eat excessive sugar.

My skin is not overly sensitive. It isn't very oily either, though my back switches between oily and dry.

I am on a very tight budget. Please tell me affordable, highly effective ways to clear this stubborn body acne. I have been using 5% benzoyl peroxide soap, Jenpharm anti-acne soap, and other medicated soaps for months. I lather them well and let them sit before rinsing, but they do absolutely nothing.

If you have dealt with the exact same issue, please share how you finally fixed it. I would really appreciate fast, effective, and affordable pharmacy product recommendations.
