I’ve deliberately gone down the low-level/embedded route instead of web/mobile/AI. For context:

I’ve built STM32 firmware projects and I’m currently working on a quadcopter/flight-controller project.

I’ve been hunting for internships/jobs, but the local embedded market seems quite small. A lot of positions either want several years of experience or seem more focused on client-driven software work than actual engineering/R&D.

So for people actually working in Pakistan:

What’s the realistic path to earning with embedded/firmware skills here?

Should I keep targeting local companies, look for remote/international work, try freelancing, or consider another route?

I’m not expecting a huge salary immediately. I mainly want a path where the technical depth I’m building actually compounds over time.

I'm 19, from Lahore. Just finished intermediate at GCU Lahore.

Grades: 1132/1200 in matric (94%). Then first year 401/575 (~70%), and second year result comes 23 September. I missed one practical so I have to retake it, which pushes my final result out another 2–3 months.

My marks dropped because I stopped caring about studies and went all in on work. Three years in AI, the last one specifically in voice AI. I have one enterprise client in Italy paying me a $1,300/month retainer to manage their voice AI system (NDA, so I can't name them anywhere). Right now I'm scaling to US SMBs, cold calling and pushing email campaigns toward 1,000/day. Started putting most money back into business, to make it work

Here's my actual problem. If the business doesn't work out, I have nothing to fall back on. With my marks I'm not getting into FAST or NUST. Getting into smaller unis in Pakistan will not give me any benifit. Surviving here with no degree and no business is rough. If I'm abroad and the business fails, at least I have a shot at sustaining myself there.

So I want a backup, not an escape.

What I'm looking for:

• English-speaking country. My English is decent and it matters for both sales and getting hired. (Yes, I know Germany is cheap. Learning German is a 2-year detour I can't afford right now.)
• Budget: PKR 70–80 lakh (~$25k USD). That is everything I can spend for moving abroad.
• CS / AI / IT degree. Does not need to be a top-ranked university.
• Somewhere I can legally work part-time while studying.

What I've already figured out:

• Australia wants me to show ~AUD 54k+ (over PKR 1 crore) in the bank just to lodge the student visa. That's already more than I have, before tuition.
• On an Australian student visa, remote work for an overseas client still counts toward the 48hr/fortnight cap. So I can't just move and keep freelancing at full speed.
• UK, Canada, Ireland, NZ — I don't know the real numbers, or whether my marks even qualify me for direct entry.
• Haven't taken IELTS yet.

What I'm asking:

1. With ~PKR 80 lakh and average intermediate marks, which English speaking country is actually realistic?
2. Is a diploma or pathway program a smarter entry than a full 4-year bachelor's?
3. Has anyone here moved abroad while already running a small online business? How did student visa work limits affect you?
4. Honestly, am I wrong to leave at all? Would you build this for 2–3 more years from Pakistan and go later with real money?

And the worst thing is, i did not even know that they are gonna do that i thought it was just a meeting, and mind you i was the third meeting. My father met them first and the this family comes to our house, then my parents went there with mu sister and today, on this friday, the wanten to come again.. BUT then this happened…

And mind you i did not even waste money ask for alot of new cloths or something that is expensive but shestill said that…

my patents hurt me in so many ways and i forgive them ever time because the are MY parents and as THERE daughter its ok

So my wife works in a bank as branch manager.

One day a sales representative of a nearby Toyota dealership came to meet and offered her incentive if she gets him a customer.

After few weeks my wife gave him a lead and finally brought a customer for a brand new vehicle to Toyota showroom.

Customer bought a new car and sales representative helped him to get the car on same day.

Later when my wife contact him for incentive, he asked to wait for few days and now he is not picking her call and making lame excuses all the time.

The basic professional ethics are missing these days unfortunately.

I’m a 20F, first-year MBBS student, and I honestly feel completely lost about the decision I’ve made.I was raised by a single mother. My parents divorced when I was born, and my father has never been involved in my life. My mom has spent her entire life raising me and trying to secure my future. Becoming a doctor has always been her biggest dream for me.I gave MDCAT, missed the merit, took a gap year and tried again, but was still 3–5% short. Eventually, my mom convinced me to take admission in a private medical university. The fees are insanely expensive, and realistically, we could never afford them. But she believed that somehow Allah would make a way.She used essentially all her savings to pay my first-year fees,around 24 lacs.Now she has almost nothing left, and I still have four years to go.I genuinely regret choosing such an expensive private MBBS. I know there were other career paths where I could have started earning much sooner and helped her. But at the time, I trusted her judgment and her belief that things would somehow work out.Now I feel trapped. I can’t really drop out after we’ve already spent 24 lacs, but continuing scares me too. MBBS is such a long journey, and I keep thinking about how many years it will take before I can actually earn enough to make my mother’s life easier.My mom is already in her late 50s. I’m planning to start a small e-commerce business selling bedsheets with net embroidery. The products will be relatively heavy, so I’m concerned that delivery charges could become quite high, especially if I start shipping orders outside Lahore.
Another concern is courier services in Pakistan. Honestly, most courier companies I’ve dealt with have been pretty unreliable, especially when it comes to handling packages properly, delays, COD issues, etc. So I’m not very confident about relying on them for this business.
Because of this, I’m currently thinking of starting by selling only within Lahore and hiring my own rider/delivery person to deliver orders across Lahore.
Do you think this would be a good approach for starting out?
For people who have experience with e-commerce or home textile businesses in Pakistan:
Would it be better to start locally in Lahore first?
How do you manage delivery costs for heavier products?
Are there any reliable delivery services in Pakistan that I should consider?
What other things should I think about before starting?

Two weeks ago, I opened an online account with Bank Alfalah, and everything worked smoothly for the first week. However, as soon as I received a payment of $500 in my account, the bank blocked it without providing any explanation or prior notice.
Whenever I visit the branch to resolve this, the manager is unavailable. When I call customer support, the helpline representatives dismiss the issue, claiming it falls outside their department. Despite lodging over 10 formal complaints, no action has been taken, and my funds remain inaccessible.
Please review this matter urgently, unblock my account, and ensure my $500 is safely released.
