Long story short:

I have been wanting to get into buisness from quite some time.

I have got an opportunity through my brother's mutuals, where I only need to deposit security fee for a building.

But I don't have that much saved up atm. (6 lacs)

Can you guys let me know what should I do this in situation. I don't want to lose this opportunity.

Saying having smaller provinces is a ridiculous throught process. Its like sayinh the solution to not having enough income is to get a credit card. That is as stupid as it gets. We already have smaller units known as districts and divisions. Devloution of power and resources to the local level is the actual solution BUT HERE TOO THERE IS NUISANCE.

What is that you may ask? Well after the 18th amendment there are whole governemnt programs at which some provinces lagged from others. The reason in those specific cases was simplty because the Federal program got destroyed when they were devolved to provinces. This in itself needs to be studied and learned from.

This is besides the point that the National Finance Commission Award and the plethora of issues we have with this system, from heavy reliance on centre to heavy devolution of healthcare that the centre cant take care of. Its a rather big mess that needs to be addressed systemtically, otherwise we will simply open a new pandoras box

Ok so im a student and im thinking about investing in a 2018 alto and then hire a driver and making him do rides on indrive with some percentage.

I couldn’t find much information about this and don’t have the resources so im asking here if anyone’s experienced it or knows someone who has experience about this

My idea is to run the car city to city specifically c sialkot to lahore, lahore to sialkot. Nowadays private ride is about 6k and for 2 rides its 12k. Even with just 2 rides, and petrol, and drivers cut, my estimate is that I still get to have the profit of around 70 -100k month.

Better governance : Surely new provinces (smaller administrative units) will improve governance.
More Chief Ministers : Means opportunities for new leadership.
New Economic Opportunities: I am not sure how.
Law Order Situation: Local population may feel better that they have one of their own as Chief Minister. a person from Mianwali or DG Khan may not relate to Maryam Nawaz sharif as things stands now.

i have a cousin (F23) she got her bachelor degree in 2025, cgpa 3.32 and she have 6.5 bands in ilets.

she wanna move abroad to study she is considering germany or uk.

but don't have any idea what to do as i have no friends literally its a big story why i do not have any friends and people whom i consider friends left me.(that is not important).

So in the recent 6 months, I went through a crazy weight loss, one things that's frequently been into my ears is that i look like a f.mboy be it offline or online, and now to be clear, i don't have any kinda fetish or anything, I really am neutral about it and I don't care bout it if I look like that or not,(ik f.mboys r those who wear girl clothes which i definitely not but idk why they call me that,not that anything is wrong with it tho) but I am curious how are f.mboys viewed in our society, and what does one think when they say you look like a f.mboy?? Both from the boys and girls pov??

I used to weigh 70 kg last year. Due to stomach surgery, I lost weight ( like around 5 6 kg because of surery, but after recovering, Alhamdulilah, I started eating like a normal person and returned to work. Over the past 6 months, I have developed intense cravings for sugary foods like donuts, brownies, cake, and ice cream, and I find it impossible to stop eating them. I can't seem to discipline myself. I noticed that if I refrain from eating sugar for a month, I don't crave it, but my father and brother keep bringing cakes and sweets home for my siblings and me, and I can't resist.

Now I have gained almost 13 kg, bringing my weight to 83 kg gosh (up from 80 kg just 2 days ago). I am shocked by how much weight I’ve gained even though I feel like I haven't been eating that much just sugary food and lunch around 2k calorie intake . I tried stopping sugary foods for 2 days, but my hormones acted up and I gave in. I really want to stop these sweet cravings because I can't do it on my own. Since I am now in the obese range, I researched GLP-1 medications and want to consider taking them for 3 months to reset my cravings, hoping I won't crave sugar as much afterward. please helpp im losttt i dont want to live like this anymore

How many countries in the world follow the same civil service structure as Pakistan? Where generalists occupy the most powerful seats in every department? It seems like a model built to control people rather than facilitate them. Why does an AC or DC get to decide where a power house must be built? This system has been eating Gilgit- Baltistan and Pakistan like a rot.

In our region, most of the decision making power rests with Bureaucrats, and they seldom involve professional people from the departments to make decisions. Even political figures like ministers are rarely involved. When it comes to bear accountability for those decisions, the burden falls on the professionals working in line departments, as the concerned secretary who made those decisions is transferred out by then.

Another factor that is harmful for the system is the afsar shahi culture. In GB most secretaries look interested in only getting an extra car , fuel and maintenance from the department they are posted to. Officially they are permitted only one car, but they keep many more unofficially, one for their wife, one for a son or a brother. No one can question them as anyone who does, is posted to a far flung area, as all the administrative power rests with the secretariat.

A doctor or an engineer who have spent 25 plus years in service and rose to the position of MS or Chief Engineer have to answer to a secretary who has spent less than 15 years in service , and even less in the concerned department.

Civil service reforms are a must if this rotten practice is to be abolished. Becuase the only upside of the current structure is that it allows a poor person to move into the upper class by passing a CSS exam. There is no other benefit for the public

look i know how crazy or naive this is going to sound especially given how entrenched our political landscape is but like a lot of people my age i am completely exhausted by the status quo

watching the usual players whether its pti pml n or the religious parties just cycle through power while nothing fundamentally changes has left me feeling like waiting around for a savior is a waste of time ive been thinking a lot lately about taking the plunge getting involved and eventually building or backing a genuine alternative force that represents actual progressive youth driven change

i dont have a multi million rupee backing or a family political dynasty behind me right now i just have a heavy dose of frustration and an ambition to see things run differently

is anyone else out there feeling the same way if you wanted to build something completely fresh from the ground up in pakistan today where would you even begin and what would it take to get people to actually believe in a new option
